I have been a member on myg37.com since 2008 and here since the beginning. These threads usually end the same. I almost signed up for the group buy. Just wanted to see which way this goes. Not trying to be the bad guy but I would start calling CC companies and get your money back.

redondoaveb 03-24-2020 01:45 PM

He actually sent me a PM over a month ago out of the blue and ask me if I wanted in on the group buy. I thought that was kind of strange as I hadn't expressed any interest in the oil pump.

I don’t know if PayPal dispute is still an option because of time elapsed. I am not familiar on that. I just think, if the entire group buy is to file a complaint (rather than just 1 individual), we can get better results.

I'm going to give it till the end of the week. Then from their I think we all should proceed with our claims.

V8Killer 03-24-2020 02:39 PM

I've left a message on the phone number associated with the FB page. Sent a fb message, insta message, email, commented on the last picture on the FB page. Let's see if we can get a reply.

Leadfooted 03-25-2020 08:28 AM

Is there a way to setup a private post about all this stuff for those involved no point in dragging this out in public imo? If hed reply with a proper update this probably could proceed until finished. And this is in no way a defence to him going afk

Leadfooted 03-25-2020 08:49 AM

And for those involved if you wanna dispute or how long you have to do it
Can i dispute on paypal?
If you purchased the item from one of our merchants, follow these simple steps:
Log in to your PayPal account.
Open a dispute in the Resolution Center within 180 calendar days of your purchase.
Click “Dispute a Transaction.”
Select item dispute.
180 days ago was 9/27 not sure when some of you paid but hope this helps with your situation I jumped in late 11/29

JARblue 03-25-2020 09:03 AM

I'm not on a timeline and would rather just get my gears.

The group buy was started on 10/7/2019. That is the day I made my deposit.

However, it appears to me that the PayPal dispute deadline is 90 days and not 180 days. Therefore, I am only able to dispute my $400 final payment and not the original $750 deposit. Since I used PayPal credit to pay, I will be contacting Synchrony bank to file my dispute; hopefully they can do more for me than PayPal.

Spooler 03-25-2020 09:12 AM

From previous posts, it looks like our pumps are about ready to go. Not sure what the hold up is.

Spooler 03-25-2020 10:44 AM

I worry about his health. With all this craziness going on it makes you wonder.

Total D 03-25-2020 10:47 AM

Good morning guys,

First, just want to apologize big time for the MIA here in the past few weeks. Legitimate excuses, but I still dropped the ball, so to speak. Between moms strokes and doing home health, new job, moving to be closer to mom, and now this virus, things have been a bit overwhelming to say the least.

The gears and pumps are done. During QC, we had some tolerances that were a little out, so didnt want to send subpar product to you guys. As of right now, I have all the gears with me and going through each one, to get them in tolerance. I'm working my full time job, so I'm trying to get them done as soon as possible for you guys. I know my lead times have been horrible and I hate it's taken this long. However, I will deliver ASAP, this is not to string you guys along, just wanted to let you guys know what's going on. Again, I really do apologize for this, as this is not the way I run my business, just a lot happened all at one time, during these past few months.

Thanks for understanding, I'll be online a bit more now that I'm getting settled.

Thanks,
Jeremiah

Spooler 03-25-2020 10:51 AM

Thanks for the update Jeremiah. Keep us informed please sir. A couple of us are getting dang close with our builds.

JARblue 03-25-2020 11:24 AM

:iagree:

Thanks for posting :tiphat:

Hotrodz 03-25-2020 11:24 AM

Agreed! Thanks for the update and looking forward to receiving the pump and gears as Spooler said some of are real close on our engines being assembled.

Jeremiah,

I am glad to hear from you but it still sucked as a consumer to have to leave messages on several platforms as your main poc is not working. I really hope this post isn't something to string us a long as the dates have been pushed back quite a bit. I am frustrated as this is holding up my build from moving forward. I understand stuff pops up that we can't control but remember the things that you can control and continue to do so. I look forward to better updates and hearing that our pumps have been shipped.

cv129 03-25-2020 02:22 PM

Do you have complete sets that have correct tolerance? Ship those out first?

I don't mind getting mine on the second batch, I don't have a critical time line to follow.

JARblue 03-25-2020 03:35 PM

:iagree: I also do not mind waiting for a later batch if that helps other guys in need get theirs sooner.

Same here. The guys with builds going on. Take care of them. I can wait.

It's good hearing from you.

Elmo370z 03-26-2020 01:01 PM

I agree my motor build will be done in may

beauz 04-01-2020 04:43 PM

As long as they get shipped out in the next month and the quality is good im a happy customer

V8Killer 04-02-2020 09:20 AM

Update?

I spoke with him. Still no timeline on when they will be shipped out. I’m giving it another 3-4 weeks then I’m gonna ask for my money back and go with boundary gears and have mazworx do a steel backing plate.

That's very unfortunate as I do not plan to wait that much longer. Do you know what other options we have that are readily available?

V8Killer 04-03-2020 11:29 AM

Just a heads up so people aren’t hitting him up repeatedly of what is going on or wanting a refund. This was the reply I received when I asked for a refund. If anybody wants to take my spot please let me know.

It's going man, this year has been an absolute disaster it seems. Unfortunately due to being a group buy /custom order, I cant do a refund. You can definitely sell your spot if youd like. I didnt want to send you guys a part that didnt meet my specifications and take a chance it messing up your motors. Once all the gears are in tolerance, get coated they will be installed and shipped out. I have the gears with me now to address the tolerance issues, so going to try and have them all done by end if next week. Send for REM coating, then install to ship. I know this has taken longer than I originally planned, but I will deliver asap bud.

GB: SuckerPunch Motorsports Oil Pump Upgrade

Wow. I don’t remember any mention of this being non refundable. That little tidbit would have sent me running away screaming from this group buy. Glad I only paid the deposit.

The bit about “but you can sell your spot” is a load of horseshit. Who would buy a spot in a group buy that’s three months past the latest estimate of shipping dates? That’s dodging responsibility. Homeboy needs to start getting product out the door and stop giving nothing but excuses.

I feel bad for those with a current motor build.

Like a few others, I have the luxury of time. However, I do need proof of progress to be at ease with the extended wait time.

I would assume those words were said apologetically over the phone, otherwise V8Killer's post wouldn't be so calm.

Exactly. I need more than a sob story and yet another manufacturing issue.

Jeremiah, I don’t want to sound cold but we don’t care about how bad a year it’s been. We’ve all got problems. You took the money and right now we’ve got nothing but stories about why we don’t have what we’ve paid for. It’s time to move the ball. I’m not accusing you of anything dishonest here, but many of us are out of patience mainly due to the fact we have to chase you for updates. It’s not helping that every update moves the shipping date back another month.

Already ordered mine

V8Killer 04-03-2020 09:36 PM

Just so everyone is aware you have only 180 days from the time you paid the invoice to file a dispute.

From boundary.

NeverBoneStck 04-04-2020 04:01 AM

Better get your money guys. This smells just like GTM last money grab. Just on a smaller scale..

StormWhite 04-04-2020 05:03 AM

You have all been suckerpunched :owned:

JARblue 04-04-2020 05:39 AM

I don't think Jeremiah is out to screw anyone like Sam was. Bad luck and timing it sounds like. Unfortunate for the guys who can't wait :(

But if you don't have stock in this GB, why are you even here? Looks like we'll just have to wait and see where this goes, but your input doesn't help at all :gtfo2:

Hotrodz 04-04-2020 09:18 AM

^^^Agreed! I have been waiting almost 17 months for my build so I am not ready to panic. If I receive it in that will be awesome and if I don't oh well it will be wall art until I need it or someone wants it more than me.

Let’s say you are right. A group of 15 members got sucker punched.

That makes you happy because that proves you were right in hindsight?

That your victory speech comes at the cost of others loss?

That you feeling great because now you can stick it to Chuck?

Your first post in this thread came as your own reading mistake anyway....

I’m starting to really understand why the entire world hates the British.

I have his oil pump in the engine that blew the headgaskets. All you guys trying to rush him for the product need to take a chill pill. I want him to make sure it is right and he is proud of his oil pump. I want it to work flawlessly like my other one does. I would like for him to get everything buttoned up soon. Just like everyone else. But, I am not going to freak out. Jeremiah knows what he needs to do. How would you like it if your Mom had major health issues and you had to change everything in your life just to spend a few more days/months/years with her. I can wait. I didn't get that chance with my Mom, She was gone.......
