Now would be a good time to update the thread. I would like to know the difference between refunding now or in 2 weeks, its still a refund. I completely understand if people are seeking other options. If the product is being made, then Jeremiah can still sell them and still come out even, even though v8killer has asked for money back.

As for the gears, just waiting on them to arrive, everything is ready for them to be installed and shipped out. I'm doing everything on my part right now to get these to you ASAP. I know yall are tired of waiting and frankly I'm tired of yall waiting as well. Timeline since orders placed, so you understand bigger pic of what I'm dealing with. Mid November material ordered, 3-5 days to deliver, machining starts on blanks, takes 3 weeks with shipping, so we now are almost 3rd week of December. Machine the actual gears takes 2 weeks roughly, ship for tolerance test/coating(if passed). Guy over this is out due to sickness for a week. He sends them to me to take care of tolerances. I'm in the oil field until January 13th, mom has 1 of 3 strokes on 10th, from the 13th until beginning of March, I've been with my mom every day at the hospital, helping my dad with her. Land a new job, move mid March to start new job in Dallas, now I have the gears with me to do the tolerances to get them straight. Covid hits, shelter in place, cant go anywhere unless you're essential. Get paperwork for essential employment. Get gears in tolerance during my off time. Send for REM finishing, and that's where we are now. As soon as they come in, I'll get them installed and sent out to you guys. Guys I get it, I know yall are tired, but I will deliver, I'm doing everything i can to try and make the remaining time dealing with this as fast as possible. Austin, I dont care if you post our conversation. I dont mind being upfront about what's going on, have nothing to hide. But dont act like I'm trying to take advantage of yall and saying you need to be protected. I'm standup and do what I say I'm going to do. That's my code, and has always been that. My cell is 3183088565, I cant take calls at work, but if you text me, I can answer and give updates faster than getting online. Again I greatly apologize for this timing, and I know yall tired of me saying this, but I'm not out to hurt anyone in this or cause anymore inconvenience than I already have. |
Thanks for the update Jeremiah. It's an unfortunate situation for everyone. I see light at the end of the tunnel though

I posted the conversation to be fully transparent with people that are involved. Your actions and words will dictate what people think about you. Just because I said I have to protect myself as a buyer does not mean I am attacking you in any sort of way, that is in on you with how my response made you feel. I don’t know you personally. The only thing I know about you is that you have a great product that some people don’t mind waiting for. My impression of you went down hill not when you kept delaying the product, not when you were giving minimal or repetitive updates but when you tried to personally pin it on me, a customer, that I would be screwing everyone in here involved on the group buy because I want a refund and have lost confidence in you as a seller. Just because I want a refund for what I perceive as a failed transaction should not hinder you from being able to continue to sell your product to perspective buyers. If one unhappy customer is the downfall for your business model to thrive then quit now. I hope everyone gets their oil pump on time and are happy with the wait and the outcome but I am moving on sir, I wish you the best of luck and look forward to you handling the PayPal issue with myself and others who are seeking a refund.

VAKiller, you stated and made your point and you are getting your refund so I respectfully ask that you move on. Thanks!

I am simply responding to his comment about me trying to make him look bad. So I ask you to not worry about a conversation that has nothing to do with you. I’ve said my peace but if there is a response then I will reply again. Quote:

Frankly, I can't blame V8. He seems to be in the most compromising position in terms of delays, and if he's made his decision then it's made.
But, if anything, posting the text conversation has reinforced and validated my decision to trust Jeremiah and withdraw my earlier dispute. Looking forward to getting my gears. |
