What does it look like shipped? I'm thinking I would probably need to have it shipped to a shop directly for installation.

Good to know on the weights.

I shopped this around locally and one experienced race shop said that they wouldn't build in chromoly due to safety reasons. Given your experience in cage building, is that a legitimate concern or a marketing ploy by them? 26lb weight savings is very attractive for this.

Shipping in the lower 48 will normally be around $200.00

There has been some debate about this over the years, honestly chromoly is just fine in most race applications for cages. There are some extreme cases where people use a mixture of the two for different areas but that is really not needed 99% of the time.

All in all. Chromoly is fine.

Why buy from MA-Motorsports? With over 15 years in the performance aftermarket industry MA Motorsports is proud to be a top tier provider for 1000’s of High Quality brand name performance products. From dedicated championship winning race car preparation and maintenance to high performance street cars. We have hand our hands in a very wide variety of builds, and we love to pass the knowledge we have gained with this onto our customers.

What do we do differently? In a day and age where buying a part for your car is as simple as typing it into google and clicking the top link, it is hard to set yourself apart from the next guy. We here at MA-Motorsports strive to provide the industry’s top customer service, whether you want to build a twin turbo monster, or have a question on what oil to run, we are here to help. You will find that our service does not end with the sale, we are here to help guide you wherever you would like to take your automotive journey, with build plans, and helping you find the best possible way to reach those goals!

We are HONEST, we are not here to sell you products you do not need, or services you cannot benefit from. We believe that having standards and morals is a huge part of this industry, a car does not leave our shop unless we feel it has been built to the best of our abilities, and the same goes for the parts that we sell. We do not deal with manufacturers we do not trust, or have not used. If we can not 100% stand behind a product, we do not sell it, simple as that. So you can TRUST we are here for you, our customer.

I'm interested! How does the bar affect headroom though? It looks like the headrests are pressing against them. Will I be limited in how much I can most the seat back?

It is NHRA certified, but it does depend what speeds you run.
