What exactly would this kit void in my warranty? Tranny? Clutch? Engine? Sensors?

I think if you bought a Twin Turbo'd Z in for warranty work, they would look at you and laugh. Just a guess though.

Ya all the above. You're lucky if they will change your oil.

There's exceptions... Some dealers can be mod friendly at times but you cannot bet on that.

You can kiss any kind of power train warranty goodbye! Trust me..

I bought the car 2 months ago and got extended warranty its 3 years bumper to bumper...i think i can cancell it and i get refunded the 3500...what if i know the techs at the dealers? Couldnt they look the other way?

Very unlikely. Cash in the extended warranty.

btimola 12-31-2014 05:42 PM

When i got the car they said if i ever cancelled i would get reimbursed its pro rated by day or month i think. If i sold the car it transfers to new owner so i can sell for a bit higher, or i can terminate it and be reimbursed

I did the same thing except mine went straight to the lean holder. If you own it out right you'll get a check I'm sure. However if yours is bumper to bumper you may think about everything that isn't powertrain that you may want to have covered.

Also I know a tech at Nissan too it won't help.

These cars are pretty reliable, I would probably cash in the warranty. The only typical trouble areas I can think of is the clutch slave which you will need to upgrade when doing the clutch with the TT kit, and the steering lock which you can just disconnect.

My friends who have had these since 09 say theyve both replaced the master cylenders or slave cylinders a few times thats why i got the warranty
