Is this kit worth it?

Hey guys, I just saw this kit on eBay. Any thoughts?

You get what you pay for

I wouldn't even look at that twice. Why not look for someone selling in the marketplace of the forum. I know of a few kits being removed because the owners are chasing more (sorta like monster) power.

Clicked and X'ed out instantly.

If you are looking for cheap then you should not even be looking at turbo kits.

Chuck33079 11-09-2014 08:11 AM

Why are you looking for something like that on ebay anyway?

TopgunZ 11-09-2014 09:17 AM

That kit will cost you a motor on top of the $1200. Everything about it is garbage.

VSS370z 11-09-2014 10:54 AM

If you are looking for garbage on ebay just keep the car stock and call it a day!

I say go for it! Let us know how it goes

I'm a cheap bastid but when it comes to FI I wouldn't buy this kit. If money is your concern go with the Stillen SC.

There are only 4 turbo kits that I know of that are reliable, and that kit is definitely not one of them. If you want a twin turbo kit, look for Fast Intentions or AAM Competition. If you want a single twin-scroll turbo kit, ask boosted performance. If you want a more DIY turbo kit, check out Greddy tuner kits. Also, you're going to need to spend way mlre money on engine rebuild and drivetrain strengthening if you want >800whp for extended periods of time... If you can only spend $1200, I would just leave the forced induction idea entirely. Try saving up for a stillen supercharger kit. Its cheaper and you can run a stock power train if you use a conservative tune. Also, don't fall into the GTM Motorsports fallacy. They have a running website, but there are multiple stories of people spending thousands of dollars on their forced induction kits/parts and never getting the actual product. Just my 2 cents though.

x2 T3/T4 Hybrid V-Bend Turbocharger....Instead of v band you v bend so you kno it will never seal...

Chuck33079 11-09-2014 11:29 AM

OP, you do realize one good turbo costs more than this entire kit, right? That should have told you everything you need to know. Plus the intercooler only has one outlet.
