Appreciate it guys. A friend told me about it and I was like wow this is super cheap. My motor is bound to blow. I am looking hard into the fast intentions tt setup and will most likely go with that. I appreciate all the input.

They seemed bulletproof, then after 850 WHP rods start bending...

Dragon_Ball_Z 11-09-2014 02:47 PM

I meant it as in I will have problems down the line

I don't understand how you could even give the ebay turbo a second look if you have to ability to go with FI's kit. That like being ten feet from the Rolex watch business entrance and then listening to the chump that approaches you before you enter talk about his 'fine' watches. :icon14:

Go with FI and don't look back! You won't regret it

No one notices that the kit has no turbo manifolds? I guess you can just zip ties the turbos on the exhaust and call it a day :icon17:

But it does make a guy wonder how many, if any, 370z's are rollin on this kit. If there are, they wont be for long.

If you want a single twin-scroll turbo kit, ask boosted performance. If you want a more DIY turbo kit, check out Greddy tuner kits. Also, you're going to need to spend way mlre money on engine rebuild and drivetrain strengthening if you want >800whp for extended periods of time... If you can only spend $1200, I would just leave the forced induction idea entirely. Try saving up for a stillen supercharger kit. Its cheaper and you can run a stock power train if you use a conservative tune. Also, don't fall into the GTM Motorsports fallacy. They have a running website, but there are multiple stories of people spending thousands of dollars on their forced induction kits/parts and never getting the actual product. Just my 2 cents though.

:iagree:

Although you will get a second hand kit if you go with Greddy. They discontinued for the 370z a while back.

I could see more 350z guys on the cheaper end buying this.
It seems geared towards the DE engine more so, and how cheap the 350z is now I bet kids pick this up thinking they can have a turbo for dirt cheap.

Are they,. I would be to differ since mine went boom, Swiss and Diego also went boom, on the most mild kit out there, Stillens SC. :/

TopgunZ 11-10-2014 11:39 AM

All in the tune. Not so much the kit...Unless its this one. :icon17:
