heard from a local here - he is on Vacation. Hope you have a good one Sasha!

I have been on vacation for the last little bit here...kids are done school, we like to get out to some local lakes and do some camping/RV'ing. I try to do this as much as possible during our rather short summer, and when we go, it is in the stick where cell phone coverage is non existent. It is the only way for me to relax to be honest...when I disconnect from everything.

For some reason I did not receive a single email notification from any of the PM's that were sent. Not sure why, I did not change any setting here or on my email. Will look in to that a bit more.

All PM's replied to now though, and if I haven't please resend, as I did not receive anything if you do not get a reply. It also looks like some never got through, according to the posts here.

About even with the front sub frame and rear skid plate (sagging in the picture a bit because it is just the one couple and the pipe)

I am really excited about the 6870 turbo. I was worried that it will be too large, but it is not...basically the same outside dimensions as the 6766, but with much higher ceiling.

Once you do the install yourself that goes away. You'd have to get water above the subframe to cause any issues. Water splash won't be a problem either since the filter is protected by the undershroud and any minor water is going to evaporate almost immediately with the turbo heat.

I drove the car all day in torrential downpour last Saturday during a Charity car show/rally. Not one issue. Actually I was under the car the next day and the filter was dry.

I was just watching How it's Made and showed the 4c's engine testing. They showed the turbo spooling and glowing bright red. Anyone happen to have a video or picture of the BP turbo glowing?

Be pretty interesting to have a go pro pointed at the turbo while it's on the track lol.

I was thinking of review on a lift or dyno run but a track video slit screen of in cabin showing driver and front screen would defiantly be cool.

Thought about that too but you'd have to be working the car pretty hard to do it. My tuner and I did some stress testing on the dyno(simulating road course and autocross) and didn't see any glowing.

Finally got this installed and now it seems to take me 3-4 tries to get my car to turn over. Has this happened to anyone else? If it matters I am running the base map for now until I break in the new clutch and get tuned.

Spec Jay 07-18-2015 03:31 PM

Might have to get the cold start maps redone by your tuner. I had the same issue.

did it go away once you got yours tuned?

Spec Jay 07-18-2015 03:35 PM

Yeah. Took a few times just cause we never let it fully cool down when trying to get it dialed in

Just finished another local install, this time a 2015 Nismo:

With this kit I used the Innovate SCG-1 all in one boost/vacuum gauge, EBC, and A/F monitoring with the Galeforce's gauge pod. It turned out great. It is an awesome all in one unit, with a lot of features and a very clean install.

I still have a cold start issue. My turner tuned it, then the first time, I had to give a lot of gas to turn over. I brought her back, he redid the cold start. It's better now but I still have to give a small jab of gas to turn from a cold start. I'll get him to look at it again when i gets a chance.
