unless you have done it yourself before, an LSX swap will either be a nightmare to DIY or very expensive shop wise, you'll get what 400rwhp out of a N/A LS1? what's the point..
I was considering doing this a while ago along with a VK56 swap, but the money and time involved just doesn't seem worth it, for the cost of a twin turbo kit/supercharger kit can't go wrong especially if you are living in the US which most of you are, if I was in the US I'd go a BP kit without hesitation. I'm just kicking myself I didn't get my stillen kit 1.5 years ago instead of waiting for the MHI turbo kit.. 2 week turn around for the kit, 1 week max to install taking plenty of time and making sure everything is fine, there is a lot more screwing around then I originally anticipated to get it installed but even still, no other choice here ![]() STILL waiting on my bank to refund me though from the MHI group buy.. getting close to that 45 day period they were talking about that it would take, hopefully soon. GL to anyone still in that thing |
