You guys throwing around 25k - 40k on performance parts are big pimping. I'd just LS swap mine and call it a day for half price.
I'm sure I would get tormented for having a half breed and would feel bad... until I punched it. |

LS swapping is actually really expensive, you need to buy a jazzed up one to make it worth it, and the swap kits themselves are usually 3-5k and install is gonna murder your pocketbook. it ends up costing 10-30k all said and done to get the gauges and power-steering, and wiring, and exhaust, and drive shaft, and mounts, engine and transmission + work to bring them up to the performance level, bigger clutch and 5-10k in labor. If you DIY it yeah can save a lot of money but it ends up coming down to not that many people can actually DIY that.

Not to mention the $40K number came from Ill including the amount he paid for his Z ($22K) since GTM is in possession of the entire vehicle. I wouldn't expect a typical FI kit installed on a 370Z to push much past $20K.

I've got connections to make it happen. However, I'm not sold on the idea yet. |

I think it's majorty of people that have problems with their communication the time it takes to have parts delivered. Once they finally receive everything, is is as expected it should be quality wise. Few people, few that I know about anyways, have had quality controll issues, cracked manifolds and defective parts on delivery, but it gets sorted out majority of the time.

Such mods are expensive. What do I regret from this? Getting an EBC and a proper tune from the get go. I want more power. Why? It's fun, and it doesn't involve wreckless driving either. It feels good and sounds so cool, so I don't regret any of it. In fact, it's pretty rare I mash the throttle in 1st and 2nd.
