The feed line is steel coated in a corrosive barrier of polyurethane. Besides the 6" or so that are in the fuel access area. So I guess that could be.

But stainless braided has nothing to do with what is inside the line. That is just a sheath for protection. The inside of those lines are plastics, nylon and Teflon.

This is the same thing. Octane is safety.
