Woops, got my threads mixed up.

We will offering our turnkey kit with a flash, there is no logical reason to use a stand alone for waht we are trying do here . We are the only company that are able to install and tune a stand alone on a VQ37VHR to date. it was not easy .

As for adv vs Disadvantages of a re flash vs a Standalone unit,it is really depends on the intended use of the vehicle to simplify it. if is for a street car i will use a flash and for a track car with some extreme power output that will require a lot of the blows and witless that a factory ecu can not do, I will do a stand alone

Its funny how both GTM and Stillen have gone dark for a while on these threads. I personally dont think the supercharger is producing the numbers they were expecting as I had previously predicted several posts back. I have a feeling the cost of this kit is going to be close to the cost of a twin turbo kit.

Unless the supercharger is 5 grand or less I wont be playing. I am quickly loosing interest in the supercharger and I am leaning towards GTM's twin turbo kit. I already have the supporting mods for either kit and after reading the self install thread on the GTM twin Turbo kit, its totally doable.

the price of the supercharger kit will not be close to a twin turbo set up. As i stated earlier we are still testing and this part can not be rushed, the Gaines that we have shown so far are very promising .

Will this kit be available for the HR 350z with the flash? Also, thanks for taking the time to keep us up to date so often.

Hmmm...great question. At that price point, Vortech's SC in CARB-legal form was putting out high-300s whp and about 300 ft. lbs. of torque on the old Rev-Up VQ35, right? I guess getting over the 400 whp mark with torque in the low 300s wouldn't be too out of the question on the VQ37, would it?

I hate to ferment "conspiracy theory" type ideas but I can't help but wonder...will GTM cap the power and torque of their stage 1 S/C kits to >500whp since it would take away from the more expensive turbo market. I still feel that with a tune, downpipe, full 2.5in exhaust 500whp or damn close to it will be possible.

I highly doubt this is the case. GTM wants to put out a product that will compete with Stillen's SC, and Stillen won't cap the power on their kit due to the TT market.

i think everyone will be happy with the SC kit...We can't really open up our cars on the highway anyway...31 mph above any given speed limit = 30 day suspension....That's the law over here in PA anyway.

I guess I'm a conservative kind of guy. When did 400whp become slow. For me the 370z just needs a bit more grunt. Hopefully I will be able to get the basic kit and rip up some canyons.
