wow i was almost right on post #3! gtm stands up to their reputation of making fools of their own customers
sorry to hear op. time to cancel the order and goto BP or FI instead.

I got one of those for my injectors and uprev cable he shipped me. it got there. I don't remember if it had tracking though. Just call and ask him whats up with it man, he always answers the phone.. or talk to Pablo.

I talked to Sam when I got up yesterday. He stated that the shipping department made a mistake. He claims all that needs to be done is the fabrication of the housing, I told him to ship what he had or send me a check. He said everything would be shipped out, with the exception of the housing, by the end of the day. About five minutes after that conversation he called again to reassure that the package would leave GTM by the end of the day.

I had to go to work and at work I can get on the forum but I can't post to a thread or start one, however, I can PM. Several hours into my shift I get a text on my phone from a certain forum member that he somehow knew the package shipped that day and that the shipping department did screw up and send me a tracking number by mistake. I won't reveal who the forum member was but he has nothing to do with GTM, he actually warned me about them when I first considered the MHI kit. I asked him how he knew and he wouldn't tell me. I told him I appreciate the info and he said he would keep me updated when he could.

I just got home and checked my email and sure enough there is another tracking number from UPS/GTM. I tracked a 92 pound package that left GTM yesterday and will arrive at my house on 4/1 by the end of the day. I know, I know......April fools muther F'er. If there is anything other than the parts I ordered in that box I will be purchasing a one way ticket to GTM and will tell the wife to forget about bail because there will be none.

I will continue to update this thread when I have something to add.

I'm rooting for you man and really hoping you didn't open a whole new can of worms with gtm.. Even when you get the kit you will still need the tune and hopefully nothing gets broken during the install because as you know now everything is hard to get from gtm. Hey if you speak with sam again maybe you could mention my Cracked Exhaust Manifolds...

Um yeah.....after everything is installed and working. No problem.

Not yet. Still on track to be delivered by Tuesday 4/1. But check this out...the 92 pound package was picked up in the USA but then it was tracked in Canada:

I just got up and the wife handed me a UPS slip. I guess they had been at the house with the package around 1pm and my wife was gone and I was asleep. Problem was there wasn't anything written on the slip. So I tracked the number and it came back delivered and signed for. WHAT !!!!!:eek::eek: No package anywhere and nobody signed sh*t !!!

The hamster in my mind started halling azz on the wheel as my thoughts raced. At this point after all the mind games from GTM I thought the worst.

Paranoid Mind Scenario: Driver notices a large GTM package (insured for large amount) and starts to get wood. Driver pulls up to house and sees the Z and puts 2 and 2 together. Signs the document himself and marks it 'delivered' and puts a blank UPS sticker on the door and drives away phoning friends about his score.

SEE WHAT GTM HAS DONE TO ME ?? :facepalm:

So my wife gets on the phone and calls any number she sees on the sticker while my blood pressure skyrockets and profanity is shouted throughout the house. While she's on the phone the wife goes across the street where some people have been painting their house all day. They told her the driver delivered it to the neighbor directly across the street. A half hour later UPS called my wife to confirm it was signed for and delivered to the neighbor across the street.

I swear I was normal before GTM. :rofl2: There is a good chance I may stroke out before I actually get to drive a boosted Z home from the shop. If so, there will be a GTM 1.5 SC for sale for cheap. I won't get to post pics tonight and tomorrow I will be on my way to VSR for the build. I will start a build thread detailing everything from this point on with VSR and GTM, hopefully it won't include my obituary.

Once I got past all the peanuts the goodies started to reveal themselves. As I was opening the package guess who calls.... IT WAS SAM !!! He wanted to make sure it got to me, there may be some hope. I told him about the drama for the day. Got to get ready for work now :shakes head: but will be off tomorrow night so I can deliver to goods to VSR.:stirthepot:

Hmm since he said he opened it and was digging through peanuts I think he did.

Sam said there are parts missing that will be shipped in a few days (here we go again). Among those items is the housing, since I'm new to the FI world I really don't understand what that is.

Items missing from shipment:

Supercharger / housing
SC pulley / wanting 88mm
(6) Head Bolts / hardware
Bypass Valve
(2) Throttle Body Pipes
ECU Reflash Cable

So basically he sent me pipes and hardware but no high dollar items. I did get the oil cooler and oil pan that I ordered but I didn't see the air deflector. I was told by 'a little birdie' that these item WERE being processed and will be shipped soon. However, I have reservations about dropping my car off as I don't want to go without my vehicle for longer than I have to. Still on edge and stressed. This sh*t has to end. I have to go to work, I'm already going to be late.

DO NOT DROP THE CAR OFF UNTIL ALL ITEMS ARE IN HAND. This is GTM we're talking about, man. :rofl2: You're right, he left out the big ticket items.

OP I'll tell ya what...you have a lot more refrain than I would in any of these bullshyt dealings with GTM. People can hide behind their phones all day but when a pissed off angry mofo shows up at their door looking for what is owed...well just saying. Good luck getting the rest of your stuff.

Oh and maybe change the title of the thread to

Exactly. He shipped the stuff he had around the shop or the stuff he had mat'l laying around to be able to make it. All the stuff that took external work/purchasing got left out.

If it were me I would ship that box back to gtm now and request a full refund because this is just the beginning of a bad can of worms your about to open...

If it took that long just to get parts laying around the shop, imagine how long before he gets the actual parts that require actual work to get???

I've seen this before at work. He is on a cash only basis with his vendors. Get a refund and then send your parts back (in that order). Trust me on this.

Yup. Looks like Sammy's stiffed a couple of his vendors. That's a worse sign than just about anything else.

Not really. Because now you are on the hook for the cost of those parts if you want to bail out. That why, even though it meant taking my car out in pieces, I made sure to have all the MHI parts off my car before leaving GTM.

Charger and housing have shipped along with the 88mm pulley and BOV, should be here Wednesday. All that's left to get are two pipes, a cable and the fender liner. Pablo is really going the extra mile for me and keeping me informed and getting stuff to me.
