It's not slightly louder..it's very noticable(or used to be in the 350). When you're putting down 400-450whp and you want another 6-10 whp then I can think of much better ways to achieve it than a light weight flywheel that every time you come to a light and your car is in neutral there is that sound of marbles in a blender. It's just my 2cents. Also that clutch thing the OP is talking about, I'm not sure which sound you're talking about because there is the normal not very loud every day sound the clutch makes and then there is the one I noticed the 370 makes when, like you said, in first gear and the rpm's are winding down if you press the clutch it makes a very loud chatter. I thought it broke when I first heard it do this. I try to clutch in before the rpm start to drop when in first gear to avoid this. Try that and see if it helps and if not ask the stealership. ![]() |

+1 after my experience with my 350z Lightweight FW I will NEVER buy another one again... I would rather make up the power in some other area that doesnt make my car sound like a deisel at low rpm's when im accelerating. Its embarassing to have a nice car that sounds like $hit especially when you are driving next to a wall or in a drive through...

^Agree with these guys. Don't change the flywheel out.....the stock "heavy" one works the best with forced induction. The ones who changed had many problems. Research before making your moves people..
