I think what I need to understand is that, regardless of being near target boost or not, the wastegates are still somewhat open causing a noisy drone at sub boost conditions (highway cruising). I had it in my mind that the wastegates keep 100% closed until ~20% below target boost psi. Hopefully I'm reading everyone's comments correctly.
In the end I think I'll still need to resonate my exhaust by swapping out pieces. I'll try the recirc option firstly then go from there. Thank you for everyone's feedback. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
