problem with 305/30 is that it would be a much lower tire than what i am currently running. I have concerns with ride quality and clearance. I barely clear a speedbump in my driveway as is.

if youre on 275/285 the tire diameter is probably only 1/4-1/2" smaller.

RE-11 diameter is 26.3" and 285 is 26.9" for example.

PSS: 305/30 26.3" 275/35 - 26.6"

go 305's for traction. :tiphat:

Right. 1/4" lower ride height. Easy trade if you ask me
Just raise the car a teeny bit if you need to :)

I wanted to share the experience I had with you guys at fast intentions, JMS racing and the serious Z car enthusiasts out there! First let me say to everyone at Fast Intentions, you all are great with customer service and have put together the best Twin Turbo system out for the VQ37 engine period! For all the Z guys out there debating whether or not to go with a twin turbo or another platform, look no further than fast intentions when it comes to the 370z. Fast Intentions produces top quality, true customization, promising performance and most importantly outstanding professionalism regarding customer service. I'm a new proud owner of my 09 TT 370Z Nismo, who held a lot of options when it came to modifying a car! So what I'm trying to say is there are no short cuts, no settling and no saying "well I'll just get a supercharger and be fine" lol If you want a true twin turbo experience with your 370z, just give Kevin a call in California at Fast Intentions and if you're in Texas make sure you get down to Jorge, Joaquin and the guys at JMS racing in San Antonio for top notch installation and tuning! you just gotta "pay to play!" ;) #1Z2NV #lencdavis#Fastintentions#JMSRacing

Fast Intentions - Customer Review

The Car: 2016 370z Nismo Twin Turbo
  • TT Kit Built and Installed by Fast Intentions
  • ECUTek Tuned by Sebastian (aka - Seb) at SpecialityZ
  • Car currently runs stock Transmission, Engine Internals, Diff and Axels (For Now)
  • Please note that I am NOT sponsored by Fast Intentions or SpecialityZ nor have I received any discounted pricing for a review
  • This is my second car ‘build’. My first was a VW Corrado that made the Dec 2009 cover of EuroTuner Magazine (now SuperStreet)

Review of my Fast Intentions experience:
Over the summer I made the decision to go TT on the Z to pursue my road racing passion at P.I.R. this spring. After looking at the various TT options out there, I went with the Fast Intentions kit. I had previously purchased my exhaust from them and was initially impressed with their customer service (Kevin Verdina and Tony Meyerson) and then totally blown away by the top-notch quality of their product. So, the decision was easy and off the car went to Fast Intentions.

Throughout the build/install process, both Kevin and Tony emailed or phoned me with weekly status updates on the car. They even went as far as providing little teaser pics on their progress just to keep me excited. This was a big ticket purchase for me and the Fast Intentions Team went to great lengths making me feel like a valued customer. Overall, a very positive 5star consumer experience for me. Once I got the notice that the car was done, I flew to Cali to pick it up in person and then decided to drive the car the 1,100 miles back home to Portland Oregon.

Since the drive home I have had two additional months of seat time for a total of 2,000 miles behind the wheel, on the TT kit and with the suspension upgrades.
  • Thus far I have seen outside temps ranging from 70°F in California to 27°F through the Mt. Shasta area. The oil temp holds rock steady at 180°F even under spirited prolonged driving
  • Stock 370Z Nismo MGP’s are advertised @ 26/mpg highway. Running ~70% ethanol on average with slightly more than spirited driving the car is averaging 19.6/mpg’s highway
  • I took the car in for scheduled maintenance at Wilsonville Nissan. (first time that they had seen the car since adding the kit) When I picked up the car, the Service Manager and several of the Service Techs pointed out that “this was the highest quality install they had ever seen. From the fit and finish to the quality of the parts used we are very impressed”. This gave me great confidence as I was worried they’d give me some kind of warranty grief. Phew!
  • Since having the car back in Portland I have had no CEL’s, noises or mechanical issue with the car. It literally performs as advertised…..Flawlessly.
  • On Tune 1 (wastegate pressure only) the car makes ~6lbs of boost and puts down roughly ~475rwhp. This tune is what I use for my daily commute and is what the Z should have came with from the factory. Perfectly streetable power and it really wakes the car up.
  • On Tune 3 (or as I call it the about to hurt some feelings tune) the car makes ~13lbs of boost and puts down +675rwhp. This tune is downright demonic and requires every ounce of driver skill that one possesses. The stock Potenza’s have no chance from a dig but fair pretty well at rolling speeds and under hard acceleration. Once these tires give up the plan is to upgrade to either Toyo R888r’s or Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2’s.

Spend that Christmas money you got or that upcoming hard-earned tax refund on a Fast Intentions Twin Turbo kit or any of their other products that may be in your budget range. Put your trust in Fast Intentions and you won’t be disappointed.

JWes79,

Great review! We really appreciate you taking the time to compile your feedback to help inform other enthusiasts about your personal experience with our products and services.

It was a real treat working on your car; I'd say it was our best work to date. From the "trick" gauges, to the KW / SPL suspension and custom coatings, your car is definitely one of a kind. Not to mention it was our first time eclipsing 700+whp on the stock motor.

Thanks again for the business and support!

After 4 years of dreaming of my Fast Intentions TT car I finally made it happen. Several things got in the way over time and delayed

The parts list.

Hotchkis front sway bar, Stock rear sway bar

The first time I drove the car at MA-motorsports I was overjoyed. I was also disappointed in a way.
The darn roads were as winding and narrow as you would find at Zdayz. The car did great and the boost was easy
to control with the right foot. I was glad I upgraded from the 2.0 turbo's to the 2.5 turbo's.
The only problem was I couldn't stretch it's legs and boy does it have some legs. So I load the car up and off to
the house I went. I pulled in at 3:00am. I get up the next morning at 10:00am. I did my morning chores and
unloaded the car. Now, we have some roads I am familiar with and off I went. Boost controller, 17psi, E85-Full tank, Perfect.

The car is a little noisy due to the solid motor mounts but not bad at all. I drove it for about 10 min. normal
to get the oil temp up and some heat in the tires. I got on it some and let her eat in 3rd. She wiggles a little bit
but the tires hooked somewhat. Ok, so the tires aren't warm enough. Not a problem. I drive a ways more and shift
it down to 3rd. The car hooks up perfect this time and I am WOT. The front end stands up in the air, the steering get's light,
and I bang 4th gear. The front end stands right back up in the air, steering is still light, and it just keeps pulling.
It looked down at the speedo, Oops, I let off. Note to myself: Be careful the car is real fast. So off to the store for the wife. While I am letting the car idle and cooldown I just sit in the car and laugh for 5 minutes straight. LMAO. The car stays on 17psi of boost and E85 everywhere I go. I am having the time of my life with it.

I would like to say Thank You to Fast Intentions,MA-Motorsports, and R/T Tuning. The quality of the parts and workmanship are top notch.
The car turned out PERFECT first try.

We're very happy to hear you're enjoying the car. It's been a long time coming; and boy did you do it right!

Let's not forget to say thanks to the guys at R/T as well; they seem to have hooked you up with one heck of a tune!

Enjoy it and keep us updated over time. Can't wait to hear about when you stretch her legs in the half mile.

370Z Standing Half Mile - New World Record
  • Date: 10/26/2019
  • Speed: 166.85 MPH
  • Event: Shift S3ctor - California Airstrip Attack
  • Driver: Sebastian of SpecialtyZ (owner / builder / tuner)
  • Tires: Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial - 305/35/R18
  • Engine: SpecialtyZ Forged VQ37VHR
  • Turbos: F.I. Inc. - Stage 2.75
  • Power: 800 - 900 WHP

Huge congrats to Sebastian of SpecialtyZ on breaking the standing 1/2 mile world record!

This was the first time the car had been out for shakedown testing and she performed as advertised. Traction was interesting but he worked through it and consistently improved MPH as the day progressed.

On the last pass of the day he clocked a 166.85 MPH. We are proud of him and the work that we've all put in on this platform over the past 10 years. We can't wait to see what the future holds!

Not that I know of. The launch control was lame anyway.
