GTM MHI Twin Turbo vs. Fast Intentions Twin Turbo

Requested to lock thread. Happy folks?

You cannot compare these two kits, you need to compare GTMs garreett TT kit to be fair.

Oh no, here we go....

Are either of these kits actually out there yet? I'd say no one will know the answer to your question until the kits have been shipped and installed.

I wasnt trying to compare these two kits side by side on a performance level. I was trying to get thoughts more on which would you prefer for the use i described (daily use and light track).

I know none of these kits are out yet. Im just trying to get some ideas on where I want to focus my budget on and see everyones preferences.

There's no way to tell until production kits are out in the wild and independent sources start showing real world numbers.

The MHI kit is a compromise kit with a much lower ceiling. If you're ok with that, then go with it and save the money. The FI kit or the GTM Garrett kit are scalable to whatever power level you want. If you're never planning on building the motor, you can save a lot of money with the MHI kit. But, if it ends up not being enough, you've painted yourself into a corner and it will cost a lot more than the amount you saved up front to get out of it.

While there may not be data on either of the kits to accurately give the OP a suggestion on which route to take, there's nothing wrong with the question he asked. Stay on topic or don't post at all :tiphat:

Such a trollbait topic.

He chooses the more affordable low budget Gtm TT kit and pairs it up with the most expensive kit out there..

U need people to tell u what chuck did? It's obvious, just read up on it.

Unfair comparison to begin with.

isayimandrew 05-29-2013 10:30 AM

wow you people need to actually read what I wrote instead of looking at the title.

Hey you!

Go here, buy me mariquitas and churrasco and PM it to me. Quickly!

BigT 05-29-2013 10:39 AM

Please don't bother to ever make a thread with valid questions.

The MHI kit will spool faster, but make less top end. It is designed more as an OE kit. The full race kit is way more expensive and will make more top end power. Choose your evil.
