Shouldn't be that hard. What headers? If LTH I believe it's hard to get to some of the bolts but it takes time and a cool head. Which I do not have. Good thing for myself is I own a lift. Best investment ever about eight years ago.

My plans are after we find out a release date I'm going to start removal of headers, TP's, oil pan, radiator core (gives a lot of room to work), throttle bodies, intake manifold, spark plugs, fuel injectors, and whatever else I know about turbo installation. Maybe directions will be given before receiving the kit. Then once received I'm going to thermal coat the intercoolers and powder coat the other piping. Main thing about FI kits is making sure all parts that have threads are tight and thread sealant was used. Heat wrap anything close to the turbos reguardless of the directions. Then all silicone couplings are secure. Ill never forget the time I had one pop off under boost. Lol. Once the turbo manifolds/ turbos are on its a breeze. I don't have AC no more so there is a lot of room on the driver side.

Is wrapping needed with the heat shields? I have the stock headers still on, and I have 4 rolls of Teflon ready! I recently got a promotion and will have a company vehicle allowing me to park the Z in the garage. I spoke to Mike and he stated that he's working on the manual and will distribute it as soon as he can. I plan on taking a whole weekend just to remove the headers.

Oh sorry I meant wrapping such as electrical components using the foil type wrap. I know theres a big one the drivers side that you will see. It has long plastic square clip of some type around the loom. Then myself having a vented hood is great and no cowl. You'll just see the heat poor out.

Just small things like that or even water lines. The stock headers are not horrible. It's just a matter of getting them broke lose. Six point sockets always. Installing this kit is easy. Not sure how the water lines are routed but I have a great idea.

I hope SAM@GTM has an iPhone because I'm going to FaceTime him during the build to make sure I'm doing it right.

I just need to make sure I'm on wifi because 20hrs of FaceTime will kill my data plan.

You won't need all that Sam's instructions are really good,if you can turn a wrench and read you will be GTG.

For myself it's simple as any other install. Just more of it. I'll load it up and take it to be tuned.

The most important:

MaxJax Portable Two Post Lift - Dannmar Equipment

Buying a 2-post lift was the most useful "tool" purchase I've ever made. If you have enough ceiling height, go for a Rotary 2-post asymmetric.

It'll make this install SOOO much easier!

I would love one if I ever did do this I would have to cement part of the backyard and build me a little shop.
