Hey guys (and girls? :))

Thought I would pop in here with a bit of an update.

I put the kit through a bit of a torture test this weekend at Road Atlanta with Global Time Attack.

Two days of absolutely thrashing the **** out of it. Two sessions were in 90+ degree heat with high humidity.

...And it didn't miss a beat. Ran like a top. I have to admit, beforehand I was concerned with what oil and water temps I would see, but it never broke a sweat. Oil never got over 220ish, and water was never above the middle of the range. As background, I have the Mishi rad and FI 34 row oil cooler.

Anyway long story short: I had a blast. The car absolutely hauled ***, and behaved perfectly. I spent most of the time getting accustomed to all the additional power, trying to find the limits, and building confidence. I definitely need more aero now. Coming down the back stretch at 170ish, the rear is seriously squirrely under braking. I ran with the same RE11's that I've had on the car for some time. They have 20+ heat cycles, so they are definitely past it, but I was still pleasantly pleased with overall traction and balance. Still relatively neutral. Can't say enough good things about the OS giken lsd, although the fluid was totally cooked when I changed it yesterday.

One session was in the wet and that was...interesting? Terrifying? Given you can make it step out rather easily in the dry, it was a handful in the wet. Turn 12 was definitely a "pucker" moment for sure.

I put together a quick clip for you're viewing/listening pleasure. Still waiting on my buddy's to get my some outside-the-car video. We took 2 photo/video guys with us, so should have some good footage.

In the meantime, enjoy!

Its a disgustingly bastardized version of AC/DC's "Back in Black" from the album of the same name. Which is actually probably older than many of the people on this forum! As well as being the 4th best selling album of all time!

This version was remixed by a nobody who has probably sold nothing! :P

Lucky the car awesome car action made up for the music! :)

I know the song is back in black I meant THAT particular song the remix but I found it thx anyways

Drive more, post less. This is where this thread has gone!

Guess it is time for an update:

Hit 7k since installed, second oil change looked great. This will be going in for UOA this week, for sure. Went through everything, nothing leaking, melted, or any other cause for concern! Converted the front over to a NISMO(along with rear), no fitment issues with the NISMO front end or underpan(oem).

I still have not one problem yet, call me lucky or call Tony/Seb/Charles a trio of wizards! But the car has been turn-key, oem reliable 100% of the time I have had it!

I also took the car to a gt500 event at Club Auto here in San Jose, numbers were as advertised; 611/556@12.6psi:driving:This is my everyday boost/timing setting. Was on a Dynojet 224 dyno, for those counting. Was a blast, with an AC cobra owner oogling under my hood:eek:. Was an amazing experience and a great show for the kit indeed. We threw about 100+ cars on the dyno that day, lol(no I do not work there, or would take my car to get worked on there, but they host some great events, $$$$$ though.)

I am so glad to hear about all the new builds and can do nothing but recommend F.I., Specialty Z, CJM and of course e85!

Stay boosted my friends! And congrats to EVERYONE recently getting boosted(not just the F.I. guys)! My boosted Z has quickly become the love of my life. Well, after wife, then kids, the Z beats out the dogs for sure

Took me 2 months after getting F.I. TT kit to get started, did not wanted to cut corners in other areas but finally my build is underway. Can't wait to be part of the force induction family. Happy Father's Day :tiphat:

Tony the minute I saw this work of art being fitted to an engine in your shop I knew I wanted one. Problem is as you know I still have my 350Z.If you end up making a system that will work on my DE I will be one of the first in line to buy one.

Thank you for the support! As much as I wish I could lie to you and tell you we will have a DE version, that is a lie! That said, if you ever junp in to a 370Z, you know where to find us.

Your best bet is to get a 370z. I see guys building their motors on the 350z in goals of breaking 500whp. This was my goal but I opted for the 370 vs a built 350 for several reasons.
