That had to be why didn't max the Maf's out not moving as much air because you didn't have the impeller .

so with the cog pullies whats the smallest you can go. never mine looks like 27 on the supercharger is the smallest.

I ran a 30 sc pulley 34 jackshaft pulley this worked best for belt tension . I saw 11.5 psi on the 8 pound Stillen pulley with that combo , with the smaller pulley you should see at least 14 psi

Thanks for posting that ifo about the MAFs. I did to the impeller and didn't think I would max them out. Good to know, I was looking at the UPREV MAFs. Is there type you recommend for these builds?

The uprev Maf's are fine I have those now on my car,the reason the maf's max out so easy with the impeller is the small intake pipe. With my TT set up I got a around 550whp before the were maxed because of the bigger piping.

ANMVQ 11-18-2012 01:19 PM

plus for what Mr. Squeeze said, I have the UPREV MAFS also

Nissan370 11-18-2012 01:54 PM

hey anmvq is that the size i got off you 34 jackshaft 30 supercharger?
also mr squeeze did you have any problem with the belt moving around on your setup?

i saw that brace being used in the picture to help with flexing of the bracket

anyway if i can get this thing on and working i will drop down to there smallest size and see what it does just playing around with this kit a little more before i go turbo i mean it would be nice to be one of the few guys that got a stillen pass the 500 mark just for sh*ts and giggles

the only reason i am not taking that kit off my car and going twin turbo today, right now is because i have a lot of money tied up into a second house and my wife would kill me
if it was not for that i would sell that stillen and be on the phone with sam

so in the mean time i am going to keep upgrading everything else clutch\flywheel , fuel system, maf, ect so when i do go turbo everything for big power will be in place

I have to warn you be careful hoping with two small cog pulleys, the cog belt won't fit . I had to learn this the hard way I wasted money on pulleys tell I figured out the right combo of pulleys. Also this combo will put the supercharger at its limit with the impeller and smaller Stillen pulley .

Would really love to hear the steps u take to make ur motor safe if u ever decide to go TT!

Nissan370 11-19-2012 06:49 PM

Well I can tell u this if I was making mr squeezes numbers I would have a picture of baby Jesus in the engine bay and drive around with a tuner bound and gaged in the trunk

elperuano 11-19-2012 07:15 PM

Lol!! Yea those numbers r nice.. His low boost is my only boost setting (got 2 but I never ever turn boost down). Tryna decide if the extra hp/tq is worth it to build the motor. You got the main part out of the way already with ur built motor so the choice must be extra hard for you knowing ur motor is MORE than capable of handling the power of twins!

Nissan370 11-19-2012 09:30 PM

Lol you have no idea I know I am kinda wasting money playing around with this Stillen kit but its the best I can do for now. I was thinking of callin Sam and seeing if I could put 3000 down and make payments til it's payed for real temped

Why not go with the boosted performance mid mount kit ? I think Sasha would give you a good deal because you have a built motor 6766 turbo . Going with that kit you would save a ton of money on labor with twins most shops drop the engine . Now if you really want twin turbo then by all means join the club I love my twins .

Also I didn't have belt problems.

Chuck33079 11-20-2012 08:01 AM

Dude, wait until you get the Stillen setup tuned and running. You may find out you love it and don't need more just yet.
