GTM Performance Engineering: VQ37VHR Twin Supercharger System-First Look

Looking GREAT! Will their be options for Powder coated brackets? That would be a very nice touch in such a flawless design! I really like how the top bracket takes into consideration the dipstick and refill points. GREAT JOB SAM and TEAM!!!

cdoxp800 09-09-2012 05:36 PM

Now we just need the numbers. LOL..
Yea Sam it is a Bad @$$ looking setup. You an your team have outdone themselves once again.

I couldn't agree anymore with that statement ^^^^^^^^^ above.

Dyno NUMBERS Needed SAM :eekdance: Also SAM when you dyno the CAR is it going to be A G37X (A/T)??

Nissan370 09-09-2012 06:31 PM

Wow !!!!!
Just waiting on the number if this beast. Is comparable to the twins in power i am all in I love different this could be the kit for me
My motor is build the stillens coming off I am saving even as we speak

SharpByCoop 09-09-2012 07:08 PM

That's a LOT of engineering and work. Wow. To make that all work and fit? Crazy.

At first I wasn't a fan. Now.... humbled.

Not for everyman, but for those who like quality and excess HP, there you go.

The music underscores the drama. Good suit.

Although dyno numbers will be substantial, that's only one measure of its impressiveness.

Props.

Coop

Tombonombona 09-09-2012 07:51 PM

In for numbers as well. Looking to build some silly higher hp car, and I like the way this is looking.

Mr.Squeeze 09-10-2012 06:17 AM

Just wow kit looks great good job GTM:tup:

The Z monster 09-10-2012 06:22 AM

That's crazy. Bravo.

Vichtz 09-10-2012 08:30 AM

Hell yea, absolutely beautiful sirs. lets see some numbers. Finally somethin that can pulls some serious torque out of our beloved engine...

theDreamer 09-10-2012 08:36 AM

Looking good Sam, cannot wait for the final release and numbers.

fuct 09-10-2012 08:55 AM

what a great start to the week!

red6spd 09-10-2012 09:07 AM

Another sick product from GTM. You guys got my money when it comes to the FI market... I just need the money lOL

Nixlimited 09-10-2012 10:29 AM

Love the well thought out design and execution. Looking forward to seeing #s. Not looking forward to seeing cost, haha.

SS_Firehawk 09-11-2012 04:50 AM

If any of you guys can do me a favor, when the dyno comes out, can you repost the image as a downloadable attachment? I can't see anything from photo bucket or any online storage site for that matter. Whoever designed the proxy filtering on this base, I pray they suffer painfully with some terrible affliction like the Plague or something. Not death, because I want this suffering to continue until this proxy is removed or replaced.

Mike@GTM advised this setup for me, and the dyno is the last thing I'm (probably all of us) waiting for. +1 rep for whoever helps me out :P

DCNISMO 09-11-2012 07:33 AM

What are the two black canisters for in front of the IC's? Is that the supercharger fluid reservoirs?

SS_Firehawk 09-11-2012 07:43 AM

Oil reservoirs for the superchargers, there is also an oil cooler for each supercharger as well lurking behind the intercoolers.

RCZ 09-13-2012 10:57 AM

holy **** :eek2:

Zat_Zuma 09-13-2012 06:53 PM

Imagine if you will.

4.2 or 4.5 L, 9.0 CR, Stage 4 head work and 2Superchargers.

It boggles the mind

Or for the really brave:
As above with twin turbos and 2 superchargers.
Better buy stock in life insurance, tire companies and a fleet of cars for the replacement parts. :yum:

I'm Going ask To Keep This Thread On Topic!

IF you have an issue with GTM?

Make a separate thread to voice any concerns and NOT do it HERE!

Thank You.

elperuano 09-26-2012 12:03 PM

I love my TT set-up! The torque is the best part.

SS_Firehawk 10-13-2012 01:25 PM

Any status update on this?

The customer who had this on their car backed out. I am sure GTM has a system on one of their test mule cars.

Rusty 10-13-2012 08:23 PM

I was told that there is a vehicle getting this installed. Tuning is scheduled sometime in late fall. I can't say anything more for fear of getting shot. And I'm dead serious about getting shot!

11Thumper 10-14-2012 04:53 PM

Looks nice although slightly complicated. I'm sure it will be impressive.

Zrod 11-27-2012 08:16 PM

Any updates?

Nixlimited 11-28-2012 11:17 AM

I believe the kit got taken off the car.

Zrod 11-30-2012 02:52 PM

Yup that was about 2 months ago supposedly they had another car lined up for the install

SS_Firehawk 11-30-2012 03:02 PM

Was looking forward to results, for my own FI decision, but the world keeps turning and my business will be earned elsewhere

There were some preliminary results that you can search for. I do not think they were what people were expecting

SS_Firehawk 11-30-2012 03:59 PM

SWEET BABY JESUS, I've just been blinded sided by GTM regarding this. Expect updates in the near future.

SharpByCoop 11-30-2012 04:02 PM

Cryptic post is cryptic....

Please explain? Are YOU the next test vehicle?

Thanks,

Coop

elperuano 11-30-2012 04:10 PM

^+1
Sounds like u got a deal u couldn't refuse!

SS_Firehawk 11-30-2012 04:16 PM

We'll see. Squaring away the details. I gave up on this idea, and when I least expected a reply, I was knocked out of my chair. I can't count how many time I changed my mind. This is final. I'm shaking with excitement. Someone find that blue shaking smiley! BTW, started a build thread earlier today, link is in my sig. This will fit well with the update process :)

I'll confirm when my vehicle is with GTM. They will probably have it a while as they hammer out the kit for the Z. I'm in no hurry. Won't be home for 9 months, so they have plenty of time to work on it as well as the many other projects they have going on. I'm seriously interested what my car does on a baseline on their dyno. It's about 1,000ft closer to sea level and cooler weather. My thoughts on my local dyno is it's more on the conservative side. My SAE numbers are 300whp, and I have a lot of work done to it. If it runs a similar number, it won't matter for long... :)

SS_Firehawk 12-03-2012 02:16 AM

I'm not sure what all will have to be removed. I do know the AEM CAI will definitely need to. I'm pretty sure GTM will also remove the NST pulleys. I do not know about my oil cooler. It's a 72 row oil cooler. I'm not sure if they can move that middle bar to get it to sit closer to the radiator. I spent a lot of money on the oil cooler and prefer not to part with it. IF necessary to make things fit, I'll have to move up to GTM's twin 34 row. I live in Las Vegas, so cooling is near and dear to me :) I wish I can get the traction control system they offer, but I'll hold off until I see how bad it is.

GTM typically does not like us to reveal the prices of the special deals they do with us. I along with others have been told not to talk about our pricing. I am sure SAM hooked you up like he has hooked many others up as well! Knowing Sam he gave you an amazing offer like he did me. :tiphat:
