Let me know how difficult it is to re-use the VVEL cam controllers. We ended up purchasing new, upon Infiniti's advice, but others have said you can do otherwise.

Thanks. Good build happening here.

Quick question. Why didnt you go with an even lower compression ratio? I know you have new rods and pistons, but why are you so close to the stock comp ratio?

I was building the engine to put the Stillen supercharger back on and didn't want to low compression. After the motor was built I decide to go Turbo, a point lower than stock wont be bad.

Coop anything on the engine I can answer , the engine was built by someone else. The car is using the stock VVEL controllers I did not have them changed.

Thanks, Kevin. This seems to be a mystery not easily revealed. At this point, for me, it's moot, but I won't say I'll never have those heads off again.

One point of compression will probably allow 2-3 more lbs boost. Notable.
