Of course I realize this, but to spend 600 on a tune, then drive 300 miles and spend another 300-600 on a tune in my mind is crazy.

Correction I only charged 395 for the tune and this included the license. out of good faith I sent a Cipher Cable for free. Not to mention I also got some sponsorship for gauges.
By the way the cable cost 250 and the license is 250. i know its crazy right?

You guys only provide in house builds with your kit would you ever consider selling the KIT so us DIYers could save a couple of bucks on Labor and Car moving costs

Something tells me you might have had an unpleasant experience going turbo or with the company.

Great stuff with the Turbo Isamu. Looks boss from the pics man. What's next? Yes I'm already asking you that question ;)

Honestly, I'd be livid if I had to get a re-tune within the same time frame. That's dolla dolla bill, yall.

LOL. Hanging around Shado does that to you. Now on a serious note, I'm sure the shop would arrange for a courtesy refund for the extra tune cost. I am curious of Flyboy experience with the shop though since his posts seem partial. From the look of things Isamu has got some great numbers out of the STS and is pretty happy with the work performed by SR.

No experience, but I am looking at going turbo, and they are in Fl like me, only 5-6 hours away, but I'm not going to go spend 8-10K on a kit that needs a retune 300 miles later.

The first question was just that, a question. I didn't understand the need for the retune.

I would love to know myself...But nobody Z1 can send me logs to where we made a mistake. we tune a LOT of cars and never had a cust get a retune. I stand behind my tunes and our builds 100% Our Dyno is the most used Dyno in Tampa. there are times we have tuned 20 cars in a week.
My Tuner has tuned cars in the 3000hp power range. We are humans and there is going to be mistakes.

By the way his A/F was 12.2, that is not that high, that can be the difference between two different WIdebands? Two different Dyno's Two different states?

There is a lot of different type of conditions.

Well since you live in Fl. you remember that tropical storm we had couple weeks back? i tuned that car during the storms and my dyno was flooded. the weather was intense and I think thats why are tune was off.

Here is the Dyno graph and the green line is the A/F and it shows on my Dyno 11.55

Nice looking curves.

Yeah, I remember the storm. It didn't do much up here in the panhandle, other than some rain, but you guys got more rain than you probably wanted.
