I can understand if you have a certain sponsorship with a company or vendor and have a contractual agreement not to talk to outside sources about what you are and arent getting in a business agreement. But when someone asks how much you paid its for us all to know and have the right to know and some some poor dude thats one of us doesnt get screwed paying thousands more than he should have paid. Thats also why I dont like how private classifieds are required to publicly post a price yet vendors arent required too in there posts that claim to have lowest, best prices out there...

Truth!

We are car guys on a car forum :icon14: him having money means nothing. If he spent 16k on the kit doesn't make him a douche. I don't see the connection.

More or less? I apologize if this is putting you on the spot, you don't have to answer. Just the Other community as you guys refer to it as, puts it all out there so that vendors aren't running games on potential buyers!

What he paid is really no ones business, it not my fault you don't understand english. I didn't say he had or didn't have money. I compared him saying i paid X amount to people talking about what they make, the fact that it is in bad taste. So you are one of those guys that likes to brag about what you paid for this and that so you feel like a big man i see.

Isamu 08-07-2012 05:38 PM

i'll say that the price on their website is good

KaienZ34 08-07-2012 05:39 PM

I don't really know what everyone is crying over. I don't see very many people posting what they paid for their wheels, bodykits, TT and SC kits.

You're such a little person, what part did I misunderstood. :roflpuke2:...I am not one of those guys to brag...I like to share my experiences. It is not bad taste to point out what cost what.

thanks for playing...:tiphat:

That's a completely different animal! Boost isn't for everyone and everyone who boost isn't completely a gear head. So having a owner who just went through the process share, is always good insight.

KaienZ34 08-07-2012 05:48 PM

So it's bad not to say how much your paid for one thing but ok to not say about another... Because "it's a completely different animal" :wtf: come on dude at least try to think a bit before posting.

:icon18:

A turbo kit has so many different components. Are you really saying that buying wheels is just like purchasing a turbo kit?

KaienZ34 08-07-2012 05:56 PM

Dude you really are a sad little man that can't read, i feel very bad for you and your parents.

Kingbaby 08-07-2012 05:58 PM

?

You're going off topic along with repeating what I said to you.

Isamu 08-07-2012 06:03 PM

I said what I had to say about the cost, now move on.. kthxby

KaienZ34 08-07-2012 06:05 PM

We were the ones to take the chance and put our very expensive cars on the line for this build. And now that we have done it and now that is successful we should tell everyone what we paid. All I can.say is if you want this done it will be awsome and you will be.happy. but we put all the cards on the table for this build and nobody else did.

You are not the first VQ37VHR they did. I get what you are saying but it's a bit of an exaggeration the way you just stated it.

You guys got a great deal in exchange for letting them use your car for development purposes. Everyone won in that deal.

quid pro quo...

60?!?! damn you texas it was 90 for me!

Huck 08-08-2012 09:18 AM

This is just my two cents, but it seems to me that the price should be private, because every case is different. The price for your job might not be the same price for my job. But if one person is saying I got this service done for $5000, when I go to the same place and they say it's going to be $5100, I'm gonna throw a fit. Then they have to honor that price for every customer that comes in and says well so and so got THIS price blah blah blah.

It's nobody's duty or responsibility to tell you what they do with their money. If you feel that there's even the slightest chance that you're getting ripped off, you shouldn't be using that company anyway. If you're throwing almost $10,000 into a turbo setup, you had better be able to trust the guys enough to be able to leave your 18 year old virgin daughter in a skimpy bikini with them for a week and come back untouched.

every day... lol
there are a few corners I can't help but get sidewayz... even VDC on.
I was just putzing along... "trolling the streets"
( Click to show/hide )
Driving around just below the speed limit with a helmet on :P
. I decided to get on it, and I realized.. I need new, stickier tires... so new wheels/tires will be the next thing I order.
