by any chance do you know If those dyno numbers where made using meth? Or the car hasn't been dyno'd yet on meth?

We are using meth just to add an additional safety margin for the car, the Set up will make those Hp # with and without meth. Further more adding water/meth injection to a Suppercharger system is always a plus .

Bro, I definitely don't want you to be that guy either. You potential to test out long term reliability would be way more useful. However, for arguments sake whats the upper limits of boost the stage 2 headunit can put out?

It can do 14 psi .

Hey Dixon, be sure to monitor gas mileage on the way back the old school way (e.g. gallons in / mileage). There is a great iPhone app (which probably works on the iPad too) called Gas Buddy which will let you map MPG, cost, etc, over the lifetime of your car. Just curious since this is the route I plan to go i.e. STG 2 SC.

That's what you say now, but the urge to turn that boost up is always too strong to resist haha.

98intrigue 07-27-2011 12:34 PM

Good luck on a more successful road trip home than I had, haha. The wait is finally over!

dixon cider 07-27-2011 12:39 PM

We have arrived. They are putting the finishing touches on it now. Will track the gas milage too. Final dyno numbers on 9 psi were 507.9 rwhp and 365.8 rwtq. That is up from the base of 280 rwhp and 236.1 rwtq respectively.

SAM@GTM 07-27-2011 12:43 PM

Final dyno #

We added the cat back exhaust, install a larger pulley so now the car is making 9 psi and still 500 RWHP :ughdance:
Here are the results

Ok. HOLY FUGGIN SH!T!!!!!!!!! First of all, in my defense, I haven't driven a manual in 9 months and in flip flops to boot. But this sumbitch is regoddamndiculously fast. It is sooooooo sweet!!!! power is VERY linear. It pulls HARD all the way to red line. I should know, it hit the damn limiter. I feel like a newb. It just got to redline so damn fast!! I'm at a loss for words. Actually, no I'm not, I just can't stop smiling!! It sounds like a fricken fire breathing dragon (as if one existed and we knew what it sounded like, but u get the idea). I have to buy new shoes before the drive home because the flip flops aren't cuttin it. Sam..... what can I say..... pure genius. The new clutch is fantastic. The new suspension.... Phenomenal. but the SC...... It performs like a V8. A BIG V8. Headed back to GTM to finish paper work, then headed home. Knock on wood we have no issues going home, but for now, I would HIGHLY recommend the Stage 2 SC. More to follow.

buddahson 07-27-2011 02:33 PM

That power curve is fantastic. It looks like torque stays between 300 and 365 from 3300rpm all the way through 7800rpm. I'm glad you like it, as if there was any other possibility.

My stage 1 SC was worth every penny. Glad you are finally happy with your stage 2...

Got to love that sound. Hope you don't care about the sound of your exhaust because if yours is at all like mine you can't hear the exhaust anyway...

flip flops? come on man, you knew you were picking up the car. tisk tisk

Nixlimited 07-27-2011 04:16 PM

Haha, I will remember not to wear flip flops when I pick my car up in September. I haven't DD stick in a year now. Hope my skills are still there.

b1adesofcha0s 07-27-2011 04:42 PM

Sounds like your really enjoying it, be safe man

KaienZ34 07-27-2011 04:58 PM

Driving stick is like riding a bike, after a few mins it all comes back you.

dixon cider 07-27-2011 05:09 PM

Drove it for a little bit and service light came on so sam made a miner adjustment and all is well now. It's 97 digress out I'm running 80 to 90 mph and I have a temp. Reading of 240. Gass up so I will check gass mileage. I 15 north 3 and a half hour out side vagus.

***Note*** I am home now and reading through all of these again. The terrible spelling is not me!!! My little 18 year old cousin went with me to keep me company and he did the typing while I drove. Damn, how he graduated, I will never know.

Z eliminator 07-27-2011 05:46 PM

How loud is the car when you drive it and is the blow off valve anoying when it hisses. ?

Z

frostyrock7c 07-27-2011 06:19 PM

That's great man... Enjoy! I'm super excited now!

christian370z 07-27-2011 06:48 PM

That review puts a smile on my face just thinking about it, the car must feel like an absolute beast! Those power and torque curves are incredible, I love how the power just goes up and up to the red line.

vividracing 07-27-2011 07:04 PM

Be safe and have fun! Where is this "vagus" you speak of? :icon17:

dixon cider 07-27-2011 07:08 PM

Z elim since it's a vert the road noise is louder than a coop. If your talking about the exhaust, it sounds great out side the car and it's minimal in side the car. Personally I love the sound of the bov's so I love it.

Thanks guys the car is absolutely amazing

Vegas it 40 miles away
