Stage 2 GTM had any body got it yet ?

Any body know when they are being shipped ? Or has any body got there's yet.
Mines a stealth kit to it will take a little longer.

Ain't that the truth? Slight delay in the SC. Not gonna speak for Sam, but he said a few days delay.

The kit is all black, piping, intercooler, etc.
It is black because it is coated to help with cooling.

Ron 07-06-2011 09:50 AM

Oh I thought components were less visible than on a regular kit. Thnx Matt.

Lol, its a stealth kit, but we ALLLLLL know about it. ;)

What kind of coating is it that helps with temps? Jethot?

Z eliminator 07-06-2011 05:30 PM

i have no idea if the coating helps for the heat.
I got so that it atracts less interest from the local police

The piping may be powdercoating but you cannot powdercoat the intercooler.
It has to be a spray, I will try to see if I can dig up a thread where Sam talks about it. I have found old one but it is just pictures.

It is a different type of coating that improve heat dissipation and makes the set up stealthier so you get the look and the performance . the coating you are talking about for the turbo components and headers is the ceramic coating witch will keep the heat in .

Sam

What I can find so far, probably best to send Sam a PM on it exactly on what process it is they are doing the thermal coating and product used.
