I'm not sure where you were going with the psi gain from changing the bypass. That won't do anything to help power unless your old one was breaking open.
The bigger valve will definitely make it louder. |

The problem is that at high engine speeds and throttle closed, much air needs to be transported away! Over the Bypass. The "25mm" Turbosmart BOV comes here to its limits. With the Stroker- kit (4:07 liters) and the compression ratio of 10.5 : 1, needs the engine more air than before. Using the same compressor setup I had before the engine conversion 10 - 11 psi Boost. Now only max 9 Psi! The amount of air from the Vortech is the same. With the new conversion I want to achieve about 12 psi boost. The following parts and adjustments are made in the next 2 weeks: - All bearings and seals in the Vortech V-3 Sci be changed - New Vortech Pulleys (High Traction) - New flat belt (compressor and engine) - Converted to Speed Density - EcuTek optimization - Full Service (oils etc.) With the Speed Density conversion I can intercooling evaluate after the plenum cooler and set the new water pump on the best regulation. I will report as soon as the "Z" is with me ... (Hope you understand my bad english :tiphat:) |
You have better English then most do here. :rofl2:

Hey there, I just bought a Stillen supercharged 40th anniversary Z about 5 months ago.... haven't been doing anything close to the awesome stuff you have done to your car, only silly things like short shifters and led lights.... I did get it uprev tuned for altitude, hopped up to 410whp at the last second on a dynojet. Just wanted to say thanks for the great thread you have kept going.
Next on my list is an oil cooler after having read through all these pages, either that or selling it because I'm afraid I am going to blow the motor! What do you think caused your piston burn up craziness??? Low oil pressure from adding an oil cooler... son of a! I am thinking of going with a Z1 motorsports 34 row kit https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...it-p-4135.html any thoughts or suggestions? http://www.the370z.com/members/bewhi...re92015-a.html |

Hey Guys
A dream come true for me! Last year I had to cancel at short notice .. (The Problem with the 370Z Engine..... :stirthepot:) But this year it is 100% work! At the start in SCC500, Rolling50 :tup::tup::tup::tup::tup::tup: From 50 km / h speed start ..... and then one kilometer full throttle .... I can now no longer be asleep https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dC3fjcRdTuI http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1461259766 Please Wish me luck on June 5, 2016 :tup::tup::tup: :tiphat: |
awesome dude!!! please take some pics and videos for us
|
Swiss. That is why I switched the 25mm bpv out with a vortech 50mm or Tial 50mm bypass valve.
|
A guy from the 350z forum hit me up asking if ill make a kit for the stillen 350z's. He said he went with 2 high gpm pumps and a large trunk mounted water reservoir and its not working very well.
The trick for you Swiss is to get more efficiency out of that supercharger. You will always be battling heat and if you are going to try for 12 psi it is going to get much worse. If you are going to be putting in fresh bearings and seals you HAVE to spring for the Si upgrade. You will get 2 more psi out of it and it will still be more efficient. |

What's the idea of this new 3 inch suction pipe in the front?
http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1461996819 1. suction of cold air in the front area 2. only 1 GT-MAF sensor We split the signal from the GT-MAF sensor (0-5 volts) and attribute this to the ECU! Bank 1 & 2 will receive the same signal (no longer a problem with fluctuating signals from MAF1 & MAF2 in the STILLEN Y-Pipe) The temperature from the MAF sensor is used only for display. In the STILLEN Plenum, a new precise OEM Bosch 3 bar MAP sensor, incl. Temperature sensor is installed. In the original location from the MAP sensor. http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1461997100 The same principle as SD-tuning, but with the MAF signal in more detail! Everything is programmed and adjusted via Ecutek. Next week will show whether this idea can be implemented ....:stirthepot: Stay tuned:tiphat: |

Swiss. So you can't go A2A because of your laws there with CARB approval? Are all of these modifications really keeping the kit legal?
|
Quote:
But, in our official "swiss CARB document" is the picture displayed by the kit! Vortech blower and boost pressure pipe |
In that case maybe you should have just had someone weld a MAF flange onto the manifold after the intercooler then MAP tuned.

So the link is to a twin turbo and those numbers are to that twin turbo? Is that your dyno or the other car? 580hp at the wheels or is it flywheel and on which car?
Im confused on how this post has the two cars mixed into one. |
