Is this where an exhaust temp gauge comes in handy?

It is a good idea. And I run stock GTR plugs mine. However when I pulled my stock plugs out they were the same part/model # as the GTR plugs I was about to put in...so just check first. Might have no need for them unless you are high mileage.

Whne my turbo kit was installed, the shop recommended and installed stock GTR plugs instead of the HKS plugs. I don't remember the part number offhand, but I'm sure google can find it.

Groove DO NOT gap the HKS spark plugs if you purchase them; they come out of the box pre-gapped at .030 (I believe mine were) but on the side of the box it tells you not to change the gap thickness because they have some special dual tip

I run these on my gtm Stage II TT set up (HKS 50003-M40HL)... Great Plugs and their not cheap. If your not FI just stick with the stock plugs...

Sh0velMan 08-15-2013 12:32 PM

Had good luck N/A with OEM GTR plugs.

Got them gratis from NISMO NA but I definitely recommend them as a cheaper alternative to the HKS units.

That's why the GTR plugs were installed in mine. HKS plugs are expensive.
