Still waiting on the GoPro vids :( I only have an 8GB SD card, so I kept transferring the videos to a friend's laptop. Apparently, they are having a hard time emailing them because of the file size. Grrr...

I would imagine so. That's a lot of data to put in an email. Maybe have him set up an FTP?

I think that's above their knowledge and mine. Care to offer any tips on how to set one up for free or a site that will host the vids?

Probably easier than me explaining it is checking eHow or something. I'm not very good at explaining things:roflpuke2:. It's not that difficult.

Of course, they could always just load the vids straight to youtube for you too.

If you have an instant messaging service and they do as well, you can IM each other and do a File Transfer that way. The speed will depend on both your connections but I don't believe there is a size limit like on most/all email services. That's how I send videos.

Wowwwww....goes to show how long it's been since I've used AIM. That would definitely be the easiest way. Thanks, Chris!

If you want something simple, you can use dropbox to share files and folders across multiple computers. Up to 2GB storage space free.

Dropbox - Simplify your life

Edit: oh just saw that instant messaging suggestion, that would work too.

I have plenty of storage on the web and can host the files for you if you wish. Just message me to work out details.
