I would be interested to see what Stage 1-2 turbos max out at. I think the black g37 GTM did that hit 611whp @ 12 psi on 100 oct. fuel came close to maxing out the stage 2 turbos.

You can check out that build here: http://www.the370z.com/forced-induct...p-474rwtq.html

Here's the graph:

Yea they did a nice job on that car and is very impressive. That was the max I believe they were able to get out of the fuel system. I think the Stage 2 turbos can take us to 700 imo. Just need to crank that boost up a little more lol

JB-370z 01-31-2011 09:24 PM

If you were to lower the compression down to 9:1 like VR38DETT GTR motor, I wonder how much boost would be needed to take you to 600whp? Maybe 14-15 psi? I will be going with external waste gates soon and maybe a new fuel system after that. Got to get ready for more boost :)

Performance's dyno reads a little high as well. Consistent , but higher than average.

I put down 342 there N/A, my guess is you will put down atleast 470 there.

I may stop in there today and check it out.

that's what I'm talking about. I'm kinda surprised at the tq numbers though.

Ill be picking the car up this week. How does the bearing in the tranny hold up to the added pressure of the twn disc?

Honestly I can't speak from experiance on this because I am still rocking the stock clutch. I know others had issues and there is a very big thread that is informative as heck about the stock bearing with upgraded clutchs. I know people ad problems thoug. Let me find that thread for you.

toner123 02-07-2011 08:34 PM

here is one. I'll edit with more. Can't find the good thread I was talking about though

http://www.the370z.com/engine-drivet...-failures.html

Man I am sorry I am having a hard time finding that thread. I know the issue was the stock CSC was failing because it was barely contacting. Well I don't know but thats what i think I am remebering from it. Maybe others can jump in here and help with this.

DIGItonium 02-08-2011 12:06 AM

Seb@SZ had someone dissect my CSC, and the cause of failure was from the internal O-ring slipping and breaking. My Z is a daily driver, and the CSC failed as I was pulling out of the parking lot!

Anyhow, Seb appears to be swamped with projects as he is trying to find time to examine his upgraded CSC to ensure travel is still good as the clutch wears over time.
