I would be interested to see what Stage 1-2 turbos max out at. I think the black g37 GTM did that hit 611whp @ 12 psi on 100 oct. fuel came close to maxing out the stage 2 turbos.
You can check out that build here: http://www.the370z.com/forced-induct...p-474rwtq.html Here's the graph: http://i313.photobucket.com/albums/l...SI-100-OCT.jpg |

If you were to lower the compression down to 9:1 like VR38DETT GTR motor, I wonder how much boost would be needed to take you to 600whp? Maybe 14-15 psi? I will be going with external waste gates soon and maybe a new fuel system after that. Got to get ready for more boost :)

Performance's dyno reads a little high as well. Consistent , but higher than average.
I put down 342 there N/A, my guess is you will put down atleast 470 there. I may stop in there today and check it out. |

here is one. I'll edit with more. Can't find the good thread I was talking about though
http://www.the370z.com/engine-drivet...-failures.html Man I am sorry I am having a hard time finding that thread. I know the issue was the stock CSC was failing because it was barely contacting. Well I don't know but thats what i think I am remebering from it. Maybe others can jump in here and help with this. |
Seb@SZ had someone dissect my CSC, and the cause of failure was from the internal O-ring slipping and breaking. My Z is a daily driver, and the CSC failed as I was pulling out of the parking lot!
Anyhow, Seb appears to be swamped with projects as he is trying to find time to examine his upgraded CSC to ensure travel is still good as the clutch wears over time. |
Conrgrats man performance does real nice work i also have a nismo and i am getting them to install my tt kit also let me no how it goes.
|
O you were the other nismo they were talking about, watsup man. This waiting is killing me. I hope I get my car back saturday, ill keep my fingers crossed. Which turbo kit u goin with?
|
yup thats me waiting to get in there, im also going with the GTM kit.. deffiantly let me now how it goes when its all done
|
Nice GTM is the way to go...what stage u going with? Ill def let u know how it goes when I get it. Do they have a date when they are taking your car?
|
nope not yet deff within the month though.
|
Well I'm picking my car up Thursday, can't wait. I went up there Saturday and heard it for the first time. That thing sounds bada$$...at idle u can hear the turbos. Def sounds like it has sumthing under the hoo.
|
Well as of rite now on 6psi it made 463whp. I forgot to ask him the torque numbers

Its off by like 5hp compared to a dynojet...not much...and I don't know wats hurting u, the teps maybe
|
Saw your car yesterday. Looking great !!
There dyno does read a little higher than 5 hp more that others , I'd say. I put down 342 and a ton of other Zs right around 340 where other Zs on most other dynos seem to be in 320-330 range tops. So when making more power it may seem even higher. Even 440-450 is great, they only revved yours to 7,000k as well !! Andrew said there's 15hp left to safely pull out of it still too so the 463 will rise still. Regardless of the numbers it's gonna be a blast !! If you could get it to the 1/4 mike strip your trap will help tell how much power your making. |
Their dyno may read a bit high but ppl also forget that most of the dynos they see are from the west coast where they only have 91 octane we use 93 out east. Not sure how much difference octane makes but its gotta be a few hp. Also theres the weather factor someone dynoing in 30degrees is obviously gonna be higher then someone in 80 degrees
