Coolio! why is there a Mitsubishi symbol on the turbo in the second pic?

Because Mitsubishi has its hands on EVERYTHING. There are probably a dozen items in your home that are made by, or have parts in them made by Mitsubishi. Thats why it can afford to stay in buisness when it hardly sells any cars.

Yep, they are a heavy industrial company which also manufactures many OEM turbos for Saab (I had a TD04 15t on my old Saab at one point) and obviously on cars like the Mitsubishi Evo.

Wow. 2 TT Zs? I will be happy when my one gets boosted.................

You should be happy that at Mike's we had 5-6 Human shields :-D

Correct, the turbos are made by MHI, Mitsubishi heavy industries. Even though it's called Mitsubishi as well, it's a different company then the one that makes the cars, that's MMC, mitsubishi motor corporation. MHI also supplies the turbos for the BMW 335i, Porsche Panamera, Cayenne, Nissan Juke and many others. But they are less active in the aftermarket so therefore not as well known as Garrett or Borg Warner turbos.

IF if had 2 370z's, I'd would've done 1 tt, 1 sc, but I don't have two... *sad face emoticon*

Glad to see some more builds!

WOW. I need to stay out of these theads. I told myself I would keep the Z simple. Now I want a turbo. Honestly, I think I could sell my wife on a GTR over a turbo....

xbigb4ller69z 12-09-2010 04:00 PM

looking good! Im sure the owners are going to love their new transformed cars... I know i am!

Jon@AAMComp 12-14-2010 12:34 PM

Getting a bit closer to wrapping these things up. The dashes have to come out to custom install Defi gauges in the factory locations. After that, the cars should be ready to load up on our dyno for the tuning! I'll be sure to have videos of that once we do the dyno tune.

On to pics!
