my thoughts:

the 03-04 350Z's had terrible brakes with their lol brembo's.
the 370Z's sport brakes are fine.

Pull the brake light fuse and you can throttle up with the brakes on.

What does that have to do with brake boosting? lol

To the OP what was bypassed on the 350 that didnt allow you to brake boost? Did traction control kick in or something?

The drive by wire system in our cars will limit the throttle to 30% if the brake in applied. Why it won't build boost while the brake is pushed down.

IIRC, someone figured out how to do it without losing the brake lights and posted on this site.

I would assume you can most likely find the pin from the brake switch that goes to the ecu to give it the signal to limit throttle and either put it on a switch or bypass it.
