Rear Mounted Turbo (scratch build)

So i am putting together my own rear mounted sigle turbo. Using a garrett gt3582r , tial 38mm waste gate (.6 bar), hks bov, air to water intercooler, 600cc injectors. I have done this on previous cars, so i am not new to the game. I will slowly be putting up photos of the parts as they come in. The parts on order now is the waste gate, bov, scavenge pump. Possibly ordering the turbo tomorrow, pending on price. I will be running 12psi later with meth injection, after i have it up and running and tuned.

I can't wait to see this! I considered it but I can't do with the car down for a long period of time.

I can't wait to see this go from inception to a final product. It's gonna be awesome.

I would advise against using methanol injection to achieve more power unless your intake plenum is perfectly balanced. Too much risk in uneven methanol distribution, especially with 6 cylinder to distribute to. Direct port methanol injection, however... hmmm

Good luck with it man!!

Nice! Hey, I know someone from the UK who has a couple of blown VR38 engines. I offered to buy one of the intake collectors. He said "name your price," so I had it shipped to Chris@FsP. Perhaps you can get some parts off the motor like fuel injectors, etc.

This is definitely the way to go if you're gonna do it

Coolingmist makes a really nice direct port kit with a progressive controller.

I'm just curious to see when boost starts to build...
