bullitt what is your secondary car you drive? So the HKS t-timer works with the 370z? I want to see pics as soon as JPM is done with it. Alot of people do not go the xtra step to get it custom mounted Im glad to see you did.

1. bullit you need to go out and buy a geo metro or something that you can't get parts for

2. Since turbo timers are made to let the car run to cool the turbo, WTF hasn't anyone just come up with one that uses a temp sensor attached to the turbo housing to tell it when it's cool enough to shut off instead of guessing at it and having to come up with fancy driving behavior control logic?

Edit: might want to just look into a 2007 and newer dodge chasis cab cummins 6.7l turbo diesel they come with a factory turbo timer that will shut the truck off once a user specified EGT is reached so your car will stay on until the turbo is cool if you were beating on it but if you just went to the store it will shut off right away as there is no need to cool down a cool turbo and waste all that gas. we just need to steal the box and pyrometer outta the rams.

Well the main point is to let the turbo fully down spool to get all the hot gas out so there is no traped hot air chillen, in some cases it can start to crack parts.

just saying i would rather have an egt based turbo cool down system than a "guess how long it will take and waste a sheet ton of gas" timer.
