its a constant fight between me and the wife on who's car is better. :roflpuke2: |
I would have gotten a bmw but for me the insurance on this was dirt cheap and the price was below market value so I capitalized on it. BMW's are great but I would have gotten a Z4 or an M3 and then I am in the same boat again as the Z... I do work with a lot of people that range from white collared companies to blue collared manufacturing plants. Stroll in on a manufacturing plant in a BMW and they think your ballin out of control... Why give this guy your hard earned money. Stroll in with a WRX Wagon and you think practical person having to work hard for their money.... It all perception and creating the right perception with the customer right off the bat helps me gain new customers and keep the ones I already have. Plus when you are charging them over $120/hr for services. The subaru says my costs are higher and therefore my prices are justified. Stroll in with an M3 and they think your ripping them off...
This is just something I have learned over the years... |

Really thats what all that says:icon17:???? Some of my Cisco route/switch services rang from 160-$240 an hour and Im pretty sure I could still sell a boat load of services regardless if I pull up in my Amuse Z or Acura RDX or 240sx, your too funny. I believe its the person/attitude not the car, hey but thats just my thoughts. |
What are our customers going to think when they come in to buy a kitchen and see a GT-R and 370z? :roflpuke2:
|
I am just saying... I get different responses from customers. I have one customer who rags me because I wont buy an American Car... Its all in the eye of the beholder... going to my corporate customers they really dont care... but I do a lot of business with blue collar companies and they do care what I drive...

Awesome philosophy Bullitt, I completely agree with you on that. Subie = Awesome yet PRACTICAL car. BMW = Status car. |

I would love to have that subie for a winter car. Perfect world for me = Z for the nice days and when I just want to enjoy the car, a nice STI for every other day!

Here is a picture of the PROTOTYPE manifold:
FYI, this is NOT a production piece. The production piece will be made of ALUMINUM. This plastic piece is for test fitting and hopefully bona fide testing as well. |
