This kind of data is awesome, most places dont release this kinda info, wait.............most places don't have this kinda R&D behind their products cough cough. This one part is for sure going to have oem like technology backed behind the production of it. This part of the design on a high quality kit product does not come free these days.
The machines, that do these types of data analysis and the guys that operate them also don't work for free. Im glad there is a company devoted to my Nissan to the very last detail. |
Awesome DD!

eh just threw the Ti out there for the baller factor, glad to see it's slowly getting somewhere. if it's a thermal plastic are you going to be inserting brass thread inserts for the plenum to lower bolt's? If so might want to get two manifolds printed up quick or see if they can repair one because when you heat the brass insert to press it into the plastic it can pull loose and not really do anything. Trick is to get them hot enough but not too hot we do it at work in dark blue/gray nylon.
|
I would love Titanium but I trust GTM's decision and I am anxiously awaiting the results of the final product the same as you guys :excited:
|
I kinda want this to be finished soon but on the other hand I hope the car will be at GTM when I come to america this year. :roflpuke2:
|
it's just a prototype so i'm sure it will be alluminum eventually. It costs a lot to have this kind of stuff printed, i have heard prices on these machines can go from around 60$ per cu.in. to over 100 for metals so it isn't really a mass production thing.

it's sometime next year and the crickets is a chirpin....
No end in sight |
