The only thing I can guess is that it has to do with controlling the total sound output somehow, though I doubt with those tiny resonators that this thing will be quiet...

The car has Quad exhaust simply for the reason that the body kit calls for a quad exhaust. If people like the exhaust and want on of their own they can call GTM Motorsports and setup a time to have one made for their car. ;)

Car is also VERY low and that tip location is higher than stock so a "traditional" muffler probably isn't going to fit. But basically it just looks really cool.

SIck!

bullitt5897 10-03-2010 11:21 AM

The car is soo low it took us about 30min to get it on a flat bed truck!

Ready for SEMA huh....NICE>>>>>>I know you would not drive it like that on the daily.

no I am actually thinking of talking to air ride technologies about some racing airbag suspension stuff they have ;)

FuszNissan 10-04-2010 02:43 PM

Is KW air suspension any good?

I guess my point is if you wanted quad tip you could have easily welded two dual-tips at the end of two pipes and shaved the weight of the extra two pipes and resonators.

fstrnldr 10-04-2010 10:43 PM

What makes you think the twin resonators weigh more than the single muffler?

Regardless, do want the uniqueness.

:iagree: I WANT I WANT HAHAHA

I been thinking about the racing air ride system. All the pics/info i've seen on there product it looks like the best of all worlds. Great handling, smooth ride, and of cource being bagged out for supreme ride height adjustability. Look into a group buy maybe :stirthepot:

bullitt5897 10-05-2010 09:05 AM

Yea I called them yesterday. Looks like we can run full shockwave units all the way around! That means we can have the remote reservoir units for independent rebound and compression in a titanium housing!!! Along with the ride height adjustability! :)
