Oh snapz... no wonder I never got an answer about the VR38 intake plenum. I plan to get it on my motor as well in preparation for FI sometime next year, but it'll be roughly 40-45% of what you're getting. :driving:

I've been waiting for this project to start. Can't wait for it to be completed.

Curious, any aero plans to increase airflow to this beast of an engine?

RCZ 06-19-2010 11:28 AM

Holy investment batman! That looks like it has the potential to hit 1000whp Bullit, congrats on the project! This should be a good one to watch.

This is a huge investment for both me and GTM we are definitely in uncharted waters and we want to see where we can go with this project! As far as aero is concerned we are talking with Zele for a partnership. I am still looking for a rear wing or sponsor willing to work with us on this project in that regards. We already have a few magazines interested in using this car as a cover car and those will be announced once everything is final. Keep posted to this thread a lot is going on ;)

We are making an adapter that will allow us to use it on the VQ37VHR and the VQ35HR . Factory manifold will work very well up to 15 psi, anything after that manifold is needed so I'm not sure if putting this set up on the supercharger will be beneficial or not, will see ....

Our stage 3 supercharger testing is coming up very soon, maybe we can test it and see if there is any Gaines .

Duel HKS knock amps, the older model HKS knock amp had only one wide band input so we had to install two of them to have left and right wide band inputs to the engine management . The new know amp has the ability to display both banks AFR and both factory knock sensors since the VHR has two , one knock sensor for each bank

Thanks Sam! Great build!

fairladyZ34 06-20-2010 01:32 AM

im pretty sure that this will decimate all after $15K and if we have to over night parts from japan :) but seriously this is gonna be a Z monster, i would just be happy with a 4.5 stroker, i think an all motor build would be cool
