hmmm I dont think you can ever compare 37VHR to that beast machine

I thing was discussed by some people in thread of guy was thinking of making the swap and the GT-R is really a beast with the whole design not just the engine. 370s can really make more hp with a tt than a stock GT-R (540 whp not flywheel) and that's for a DD but the GT-R will still have a better performance in a 1/4 than 370s do because it's not all in the engine when it comes to the GT-R. and it's simply not worth the swap the engine might cost the same as the white dragon project!!

subscribed. I'm going to be doing the same bore and stroke mod so I really want to see how this turns out :excited:

There the only ones attempting. Posting a vid of a R35 doesn't really prove anything or discredit this build. I didn't understand the point of your post? But patience is a problem in this thread. When he does post the 1000hp mark everyone will still be saying about time and still not give the respect. Some guys here (not saying you) act as if it's owed to them.

Epic def.: monumental, vast, legendary feats, heroic deeds.

Hmmm... a stretch?

I can not wait to run a GTR with my Stage 2 GTM SC. in the 1/4 mile. im going 12.42 now all motor with 309 SAE rwhp. Now let say that the GTM makes 500 rwp. and im say 700 lbs lighter . 11.41 to 11.37 1/4 mile times should take a 2009 to 10 GTR 11.71 1/4 mile times. Right now we ar 0.71 seconds apart with no forced induction on the car.
Jnaunt car run 12.22 / he is only 0.51 seconds and he is on street tires.

NYBladeZ 07-05-2011 10:43 AM

jnaunt has a higher rear gear ratio as mentioned in the other thread, I believe the gears are a great mod but if you add forced induction how will you maintain driveability and get any traction?

The myth of short gears being bad with FI is just that... a myth.
