Storm or bullitt do you have another option to where I can put it at. I am going to probably get the one that storm has in his car but i can't mount it where his is because I have the the touring model so there are two switches there for my seat heat lol. Guys thanks alot i must say that you have made something I really wanted to do a reality for me and for ever gracious. If you are ever in the virginia area my door and a hot meal will always be open to you

Hmmm...I understand now. I didn't know you had the Touring. Ok, so if I had actual switches there and didn't want to give up my cubby, I would probably mount the EVC 6 in the headliner just behind the dome lights. And thank you for your gracious offer of opening your home and offer of a meal. A lot of people won't understand what a kind offer that is, but I do. Thank you.

Just wondering you guys install a turbo timer? If so how was the wiring done. Looking at installing 1 but been working at the wiring for sometime.now

No turbo timer for me. Water cooled turbos do not really call for one. Though, just out of habit I do sit and idle for a minute or so before shutting down if I have banged on the car just before coming to a stop.

Yeah gd habit maybe I should start that, na but because it talks me only 10min to get to work don't even think the engine is warm by the time .I stop lol

Like stormcrow said put it behind the dome light like me... I had mine custom mounted in my head liner. A few other places to install your boost controller or turbo timer would be the glove box, center console and/or center cubby if you don't have nav. ;)

Do you happen to have a pic. I see that as being an option since I do have the navi

Hey Sam, I was wondering if these cars are still capable of passing the OBDII scanner for emission tests.

I know that Hondata provides a setting in their tuning program to turn on "OBDII Readiness" to pass emissions even with out the catalytic converters.

Any answers?

All OBD2 functionality are maintained. The Service engine soon light will come on when ever there is a problem, and the car will go though OBD inspection .

Sam

Thank you Sam, just wanted to make sure it would pass inspection.

LOL..I have an EVC and haven't touched it. In fact I don't even know how to work it. I just figured don't touch anything and let it run...lol

Kastley85891 06-01-2010 09:31 PM

Lou - very wise where boost is concerned.
GTM - does the EVC have a boost limit cut off ? obviously the reflash will not have a boost cut of any sort so wondering what safety net there is , if any, some one could theoretically grenade a motor very easily if un wise, unlike Lou.
Does UPREV have any pressure sensing fuel cut or simular, over MAF V, anything?
