WOW.. glad SAM chimed in here. This is the reason I am driving from Edmonton alberta canada to Cali to get SAM to install my SC. You got to really really trust your shop to let them do this kind of work. I don't trust my local shops so I am going on my road trip. the only other option is to do it myself. If you do the work yourself you can only blame yourself.

Respond soon forged or the cost to your business will be more then delaying work on the cars you got in your shop at this time.

- guessing AK isn't on. better hurry guys lol

de_dust 04-09-2010 04:28 PM

wow... it is kind of hard to accept that a shop like forge will do this kind of job.. for that matter any shop who takes on task to install FI ... either i am giving them too much credit or there is really more to this story... atleast they didnt use a J-B weld on the car or heart shape BOV holes

shumby 04-09-2010 04:29 PM

IP take a stand for once and back youe primiem members and the form on tell the shady vendors and te lawers to GTFO. I fought infiniti and a dealership and won. if you only post facts and let people voice their opinions then you are fine.

As heat builds in the tire from tire to filter friction, won't the heat transfer into the air intake hurt performance? On the other hand, if you drive in the snow during the winter, all that cold snow would give it a performance boost, would it not?

so really, instead of cold air intakes, we should be figuring out how to put snowcone machines in the front of our car? :icon14:

talk about a paradigm shift.

Maybe the friction on the tire gets you more traction, along the lines of why we do burnouts before a race. Maybe we should adopt this system for the rear tires.

dude that'd be awesome. then when you re-rout the exhaust into your car like in a GTI you can get a shaved ice! just keep some flavor juice in the console!

FuszNissan 04-09-2010 04:38 PM

Juan didn't try to install this himself first and then go to Forged? Just at how bad this install looks, makes me think he tried a kit on his own. Who knows. Can't wait to here the reply from Sharif.
