Great work Kyle. I think even "birdman" will be impressed.

really? neither GTM's or Stillens is a sleeper, GTM's has a big aluminum intercooler and two shiny chrome intake tubes going straight to it. At least with this kit there is no visible intercooler, so if nobody sees whats under the hood, they'll never know. Now I wanna see some videos and hear that Stillen CBE with some forced fed air comin from it!

You haven't seen GTM's black piping/intercooler option. There are some pics of it on their TT kit. Definitely sleeper if you're going that route. But back on topic to Stillen's kit, can't wait to see vids to see how it sounds.

xiven 03-12-2010 01:20 PM

Yeah I would want to go the sleeper route. Looks more original like its suppose to be on the car. Looking at the 2 engine bays side by side, you can't even tell its the same engine anymore. I'm sure its awesome though, just not for me.

Good point, I think anyone that knows anything about cars will be able to tell that both are boosted. And yes, In for some VIDEOS!!:happydance:

so kyle where is the new intake temperature sensor? does the factory MAP sensor have a new hole on the new manifold? do you have to extend the wires to any of the stuff that was on the original manifold or is ther a sub harness in the kit.

[QUOTE=Kyle@STILLEN;441923]Please ignore those six silver wires (three on each side) that you see in the photos. QUOTE]

I thought those were the reins so you could pull back the horses from the drivers seat. Woah!

Also coatings can be added to anything before install on anything. It is nice it's offered as an option by GTM but still I don't see how that's a deal breaker. Also, and I know this is just my opinion but weather it "looks" sleeper (on either kit) is not really relevant. Once both have a CARB # who do you have to sneak it by...? I guess it's an asthetics/creative thing and everyone has thier own tastes. Both look bad assz to me

Oh man, Stage 3 numbers, or estimates pleeeeease!!!! c'mon 500whp

Buddy Revell 03-12-2010 01:26 PM

Any pics/preliminary sketches of the optional engine cover?

puckshaw 03-12-2010 01:30 PM

Maybe I missed it but what was used for the dyno? Completely stock 370 baseline vs Stillen SC with everything else stock? Or did it have a Stillen exhaust like the G37?

1slow370 03-12-2010 01:30 PM

i think instead of an engine cover they should just make on big like gallon and a half capacity coolant reservoir molded to look like the cover. now that would be functional and classy and there is a ton of room in that photo.

Looks great, great numbers (even if they are uncorrected).
