2. Would these do for motor mounts? https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...ts-p-5587.html
3. I have looked at the Wavetech LSD but I think I will choose the OS Giken 1.5 way LSD
4. I do have an 09 and have not looked into the Oil gallery Gasket replacement yet. Not sure abt a timing kit at this time. Still in the early stages of planning but I will look into these things.

The OS Giken is a great lsd. I have one. You have to use the OS Giken lube with it. If you use anything else. It will be noisy.

Hm. I was gonna go with a local place that have built VQ's in the past. Now I don't know. I feel it would be easier with the local place due to convince but not sure how well they can do it. The place is GBP - Home

Go with a proven shop - there's only a handful around. It doesn't matter how close to home your shop is if they fvck your shìt up :twocents:

That's true, doing it twice sure is expensive. I know Mazworx ships to Canada. They have a drift customer from there with a 980hp billet DE VQ.

I emailed them I got quoted 15k for the motor. It is their stage 2.5 long block for the vhr. My local shop is quoting me 13k CAD including labour. He says he has done multiple vq's and the VR38DETT up to 1000whp. 15k is quite alot honestly but im worried I may have to get a second motor if my local one blows.

Spend the money and only do it once.

You are most likely 100% Right but 15k usd is around 20k CAD. I will need to put the built motor off for a bit until I have the money.

You still need a Suckerpunch oil pump and JWT C2 cams. Tack some more money on.

I will put it to you this way. If the first motor tanks, nobody else will want to fix it. You will have to buy a junkyard long block and start over. I started with a junkyard long block and still had my stock one at the house. Once Darton MID sleeves are machined in, no other shop will want to take on the challenge of fixing someone elses screw up.

If you decrease your goal to 700hp at 17psi of boost you can let your local shop build it. That is plenty fast for most folks.

Maybe I should settle with 700whp... Hey question about Flex Fuel. I feel that would be a good compromise as apposed to running e85 which we don't have here. Is there a certain kit that would be best for my application? I like the idea of dumping in some ethanol then switching the map to full boost.

Flex fuel is a must. Never know when you won't be able to get E85 or run out. CJ motorsports is your best beat for a return fuel system. Don't get the AAM kit.

Okay okay. I am already getting the s1.se return kit. I am also getting the twin pumps from cjm I chose the 2x 450's. Are these compatible with flex fuel? Also I was looking at the specialty z flex fuel kit and it is compatible with the cj return system so I will be getting that kit.
