Here is my Very First post to the forum. And this is a question that has not been asked about your twin turbo kit so far... i did search threw all the pages and didn't find this answer.
Sam, is it possible with the twin turbo kit to be able to have 2 different size turbo's? One for the quick spool and low-mid range power and a larger turbo for mid-high range power? Kinda like a gt28 and a gt35r set-up?? i'm not a noob with turbo's, i've met you a few times with 2c. I also used to have a boosted s2000, but unfortunately it was totaled in a horrible accident and i am going to be salvaging all my parts to buy a 370z within the next month or 2. and the first order of business i'll be having with you is to install this kit. But for the time being, i'm curious what the options are, if it is possible 2 different size turbo's are available, if not. what stage would you consider to be if i requested Twin Gt30's Thank you - Chris Last edited by DeadZero; 10-06-2009 at 01:25 AM. |

They dont have much of a Website basically just a front end, with contact details. Off the top of my head they are know for Honda work but i'm sure a search through our local forums would reveal more about them.

Just so you know a Twin turbo kit like the one GTM is offering needs equal sized turbos. Here is one of the many reasons why: Each turbo powers one side of the block i.e. turbo A runs off the right bank of engine exhaust gases and Turbo B runs off the left bank of exhaust gases. Having a staggered setup like you suggested would end up with one side of the engine fully exhausted while the other side would not be fully utilized. So in Lamens terms turbo A would be at full boost while Turbo B would not causing the right bank of the engine and turbo parts to receive much more wear and tear than the left. Not to mention that this would negatively affect any power you make as well as be a complete B*tch to tune! Like I said there are TONS of reasons why this would not be a good idea... And many on here could correct me and elaborate further on the subject. As far as your GT30 question goes I would say a stage 3 or 4 should do the trick! but remember you have to be able to feed this puppy too! so their stage 4 or 5 fuel system would probably be your best bet! ![]()
