It is done. Standby for numbers....

Way back when I started my build over. The changes were:

IPP Stage 2 Longblock With C2 cams 10:1 compression
1300 ID injectors
CJM S1SE fuel system
E85 conversion
Precision 6870 turbo
Motordyne Exhaust
HKS Hipermax SP Coilovers
Z1 2 piece rotors
Ecutek with Boost by ECU tuned by Seb
Coolerworx Shifter
Rays 57CRs
RE11 f R888R r (Spare rear with RE11 for non beast mode days )

The longblock itself has moly coat upgrades , full ARP L19 package upgrades throughout and cometic head gasket ( Because apparently Cosworth discontinued our gaskets. )

The build itself went through it's share of mishaps and mistakes but after all the little things were sorted tuning began with Seb. After what felt like 100 logs it was finished last week.

I have 4 Maps only Map 1 is a 93 octane map and also Flex capable. Maps 2-4 are Flex only. Toward the end Seb asked how far I intended to go and I said 18psi or 800rwhp capable. I sent that log and we ended up near 20psi with a 23psi boost cut. At that level what I know for fact now is it's enough to skate away from a Challenger Hellcat like it had a Hyundai badge.

Tomorrow morning at 9 the car will be on the dyno at Titan to get numbers for each map. Currently reading E78 as it has since the start of tuning map 4. Seb cautiously asked if I wanted continue upward from 20psi because there was a bit more on the table with AFRs but I tapped out.

So tomorrow will be the tale of the tape. I'll be doing a video of the dyno run and posting the results as well.

I'd like to thank Kyle from IPP, Charles at CJM for putting up with me and for digging me out of holes, Seb for the tune and logical tuning guidance, Sasha for building a righteous turbo kit and Elmo for being the coin toss guy when I was deciding on parts.

Stay tuned for numbers.

Hope all goes well. Fingers crossed for you. What compression ratio did you go with? 10:1, I see it now.

I'm settled in and ready for some dyno graph porn.

Waiting to get with Seb. Something needs to be sorted. I can show you Map 1 10psi but the other three I have to figure some things out.

sirnixalot 02-26-2019 03:36 PM

that's nice power for pump gas

solidus 02-26-2019 03:46 PM

That's part of the problem, thats 10psi on flex reading E78.

So that is your issue, the power is just reading low. 5xxhp at 10psi is not bad no matter the fuel you are using.
