Also only the Stillen Supercharger is CARB certified, with the Stillen tune. Thus if you obtain a custom tune, you may not pass the emissions testing -- or you should be prepared to default back to the Stillen tune at the time of testing. Hence, you should check with Stillen regarding this issue.

When I tune them they always pass. In addition, if you do run the stock stillen tune, you will fail the sniffer test but they don't do that anymore.. Usually the other symptoms are check engine lights that will come on weeks or months after the kit is installed. Their tune should never have been approved, the cars never run right on it. |
