Yeah that would be great if I had another 10k laying around

Yep ... :happydance: ... picked up my car Wednesday ...
Brian did a photo/video shoot of the car before releasing it back to my care.

Couldn't have asked for a better day to drive it back to New Jersey.
Blue Skies with light traffic all the way home.

Managed to do a few quick pulls along the way just to re-familiarize myself with the car.
Although it had pump gas in it - It definitely pulled harder than when it was supercharged.

Stopped at the first Rest Stop in NJ and managed to do a preliminary dial in on the launch RPM's in the spacious parking lot ... barely got the clutch out and the shift light came on.

--- It's quick ---

I'm extremely happy with how it all turned out.

Happy for you!! Saw the video. So did you notice any difference in the enginne sound from your C2 cams? I still can't make out anything, but I rode with Matt in his build with C1s and I could definitely say they chatter more than my C2s back to back.
Update on me, I took it to get the start/VVEL issue looked at and dammit if the fuel pressure wasn't 20psi. I don't know if it's a pump install related issue or what but I talked to Seb and change is coming. I got a Radium surge tank, and I'm gonna go with twin 450s and run a single Stealth 340 into that. Also I already have bigger 1.32ar turbine housing that I have to get coated. So I'm guessing I'll be passing up that 670rwhp pretty handily next time on the rollers. Also having the Wacetrac, diff bushings and subframe bushings done at the same time.

Why are you re-eventing the wheel? You could just use a CJ motorsport twin pump setup that is proven to work. WOW, didn't know you were on the stock VLSD. That thing is a nightmare for a boosted car. Make sure your pumps can deal with E85. They will die with the quickness if not.

I am running fhe CJM twin pump setup with two holley hydramats to boot. Also the twin setup currently is twin Aeromotive 340 stealths. Whold system is E85 capable. All that and I still have had two occasions where I had fuel starve in right hand turns. The twin 340 setup would've sufficed but knowing I had to do something about the fuel starve I elected to go with the two 485s and Seb agreed with that given that he suggested that or a Walbro Hellcat. CZP had a sale on the 485s so the choice was easy. Trust that the lesson was learned, (Especially seeing pressure at 20psi leading me to believe it was the pump install causing issues.) I'm on the"Easy" button now that Derek Heim has the car. Parts are in hand and all thats left is to pay for the install, get Seb some logs and throw it on the rollers.

Good lord, how many install issues are you going to have?

This is the same one. When Derek went to check the start issue he wanted to see actual starting psi. It had previously been set at 52 *46* under reference. How it dropped to 20psi in the meantime I have no clue. Only guess I have was a voltage issue to the pumps. Derek hasn't said anything. But if he does the install I have no doubt it'll be done correctly. The only suggestion I have on it is that I'd like to go heavy gauge from the battery to the Deatchworks relay harnesses for the fuel pumps. The current install uses the Deatchworks all the way up.

Don't get it twisted. I have had issues. Currently there was one issue that I believed to be VVEL related , but seeing pressure at 20psi at idle on one pump (2nd pump comes online at 5psi via Hobbs switch.) paints a pretty decent pic of why I wasn't hitting propper boost and making thebpower it should've. Outside that I had initially intended to do a 1.32ar and skipped it, then Seb recommended the 450s and to me it's a good idea. The fuel starve thing with the twin pumps had me twitchy till Seb told me it happened to him too ( With twin pumps. ) The diff was coming, I spent the first money for it on the wheels , but I covered it later. Once Derek is done I have no doubt the car will be upper echelon. Hell as it sits it's a beast. Who can knock the numbers on a car thats limping? That was 669 and 553 while slipping on the rollers at 17+. In hindsight I'm guessing Sebs safety was shutting it down due to fuel.
On the bright side, this bastard will make it even if I had to shut up, buy a new motor and start from scratch without telling anybody. I don't quit anything and I ain't average. I dont think anybody in this thread is.

Everybody on here is a bunch of nut jobs. LOL My OCD kicked in and I got carried away myself. I had a couple more things I was going to do then got the crazy spending under control. LOL When I was younger I would have been full steam ahead.

Yeap, I was all set to have a Motec 150 in the car. It was this [--] close. Research was all done and I had the invoice in my hand to pay for what I needed. I may regret it but I can always do it later.

Someone ban you. Didn’t we have this talk about fuel starve months prior to your build. And you might want to consider upgrading your top hat. Those plastic tend to get brittle when powering those pumps, just ask Charles how he knows.

Emtron, Oz or NZ ecu might be coming out soon. So now motec and syvecc’s wont be the only standalone for this platform

Nothing to offer in the boost conversation, but I can certainly attest to the C2 cams making some real noise. It's nothing like a Hemi/LS big cam chop, but the car definitely sounds different at idle, especially on my E85 map. Driving is no different if you're just putt-putting around town, but about 3,500 they start to sneak in there and then by 4k, they certainly make their presence known. Could be like hearing the intake growl before putting exhaust on, though. I don't have the whistles and whooshy noises to cover the cam sound up.
