For the pops and bangs. He's getting married. The only popping and banging he'll be doing is in his car :rofl2:

Yup, the representative is getting ready to leave. The real wife will show up not longer after.

I'm going to ask those engaging in some personal and off topic comments to STOP!

There's no reason for it in a fellow members build thread. (Albeit I'm a little late to the party)

I'm going to ask to take the off topic comments to the non-tech section of the forum.

I would also appreciate it if we can drop the borderline personal/harassment comments.

Thanks Trips

I ordered the Tial 1.06 AR exhaust housings yesterday from F.I. If the turbo's fall short I will have them put on. If not, I will hold until a later date. To put them on I would have to drop the motor. You can see on my previous dyno graphs that my HP/TQ falls off on the top end. If I do this it will take some spool up and midrange away and move it to the top end. I am detuning some of that anyway so I don't think it will hurt too bad. Not sure. Will wait and see.

Bringing this back from the dead again. I am going to take a little TQ away from the midrange to help with traction.

We'll see what can be done on the dyno. It should be this week sometime. The 5130 rpm TQ spike at 25psi of boost is what I want to decrease. It needs to be a slower ramp even at 17psi. When the boost is turned up even more
it will get out of control quick. A spin fest isn't any fun.

Spooler 06-08-2021 09:59 AM

Dang graphs look better than what I remembered. LOL

Spooler 06-08-2021 10:09 AM

The changes.

New HKS sparkplugs
New SOHO cast intake manifold
New SOHO catch can setup
New Z1 coil packs
New 4 port MAC valve

Not many. We'll see what Nick can do.

The biggest upgrade for me is Boost by gear. I couldn't use 25psi of boost except in the high gears before. Being on a boost controller sucked. ECUTEK boost by gear this time.

Oh yeah, I messed up. I had MA connect my coolant lines to the throttle bodies on the first engine. I forgot all about it. They have now been removed. IAT's will come down some.

SeeThruHead 06-08-2021 10:28 AM

i'm curious to see if a the 4 port mac valve will provide you with enough resolution/accuracy or if you'll switch to something with more control
