For sure, good luck with your new project. This has been quite a ride for you.

Best part is I'm going to be able to bounce back from this in a positive way.
- Car all paid off now (54 months of 411.38 payments have been instantly expedited)

- I buy back car for 4.3k and STILL have surplus of $600

- I met so many cool people along the way so far (especially from this forum even if only online interactions)

- I learned a plethora of knowledge about how car insurance, auto claims, total loss process works so now I can help others if needed, I almost feel like I could become an auto adjuster myself Lol

- I will definitely document everything that happened to add to my timeline thread, haha. Will be cool to look back and see how I bounced back, also an awesome story to share with others in the future!

Glad it is working out. Did your GAP insurance pay anything? You are doing what I would do if it happens to me via my fault or someone else's.

Maybe the next go around you'll have a little more respect for the power that the car is making rather then testing the boost on a car that you already had deemed unsafe to drive.

I was thinking of that. But never posted it.

I appreciate it. But it was a tire issue. Not a power issue. Traction issue...

Traction starts in the right foot. :driving:

I think that was the point. You have learned a valuable lesson the hard way like most of us do. Every one of us has done STUPID from time to time. It happens. I sure wasn't going to preach to ya about it. Be careful. This could have been much worse.

This comes to mind too... "To Thine Own Self Be True" :tiphat:

More like what Clint Eastwood said in Dirty Harry..."A man has got to know his limitations!"

Well.
Life has given me a 2nd chance.

The car salesman was very smooth and honest about everything -- also has good humor!

I bought this vehicle today. And I will definitely mark it in my timeline.

Nissan 370z, 2009, ~92k miles.

This will be the new body of all my aftermarket parts transfer (whenever that can happen).

Thanks to everyone supporting me, especially my parents who sealed the deal on me being able to get the car.

Funny story:
I was at the shop and as I was purchasing the car, he was telling me that a lot of people were inquiring about this exact vehicle (e-mails & calls) but they all didn't qualify or didn't come in on time.

As soon as I bought the car, he got a call from a customer who asked about this vehicle, and he said "sorry, which vehicle were you asking about?" as he put the customer on speaker phone (This was to show me that a ton of people were inquiring about this vehicle)

And he said it was just sold 1 hour ago, so pretty much telling him he's too late.

I thought that was pretty funny.

They had just lowered the price by 2k two days ago, which is partly why this car was getting so much interest.

Anyways, I'm glad I got a 2nd Z now I have two of them (one damaged and not working properly)

This came with paddle-shifters!

It also has a binder of the history of all the maintenance and things done on this vehicle in the past, and a touch screen navigation / radio system! Things I didn't have in my previous Z.

I feel obligated to keep the history binder going! It will be something cool to look at in the future.

It does not have the backup mirror camera or the remote control as part of the mirror, but that's okay, I may be able to transfer that from my old Z!

Anyways, shes' a beautiful car! :D
