pre-tuned supercharger systems are 95% perfect. The only "missing" piece is for the guy going for the all out power on their particular vehicle. For most people, a generic tune will suffice. Others may want something specific to their car.
The other thing that we're learning during our tuning is that with our new hand held tuner's we will be able to dial a car in to basically 99% for safety, reliability, and great power increase. If someone wants to take it to the edge then they can get a custom tune done for sure. With that being said though. You want to be sure who you trust with your car. I have seen so called "reputable shops" blow up engines on the dyno during the tuning process. I will never forget one of those shops claim to fame. "We made more power on 7 cylinders than you did with 8." Made me LMAO!!! A lot goes into tuning, and tuning on a naturally aspirated car vs. a forced induction car is TOTALLY different. If someone doesn't know what they're doing, they can melt down an engine quickly!!! |
